Mighty Mint Peppermint Oil Rodent Repellent Spray, 1 Gallon (128 oz)

I recently started using the Mighty Mint Gallon Rodent Natural Peppermint Oil Spray, and I have to say, I’m impressed by how well it works. This peppermint oil spray is a fantastic natural solution for keeping rodents at bay, and it’s a much safer alternative to chemical traps or poisons, especially if you have pets or kids around. This is my 2nd purchase of this item. I use it around my covered carport, vehicle wheel wells, under my car seats and hood. I don't get mice in my vehicles any longer after using this. I love this stuff. It is very minty! I also spray in my tent and camp site area to keep bugs away. Its great stuff.

I had a rodent invasion. They found a way to get straight into the attic, I think through the AC unit's piping. Luckily, they didn't get comfortable enough to enter our actual living space; they managed to keep their distance in the attic. A house was recently torn down, and I am assuming they fled to all the nearby houses. They would get to my house around 3 to 4 a.m. every night. I believe they were raiding other houses and coming back to mine to hang out and make all kinds of noise up there. Eventually, they did manage to find a way into my pantry, and it was the attic and pantry for a few months. I started to set up all kinds of traps, and they would work for a week, but then they would catch on and stop falling for them. Then I would switch up the traps, and they would begin falling for them again. This went on for a few months; I would reduce the population but never fully clear it. Eventually, I decided it was time to step it up a bit, so I started to buy peppermint-infused items. I would place them in the attic and in the pantry. It would keep them quiet for a few days, but then they would come right back. Eventually, I kept trying different items until I found this Mighty Mint Gallon. From the start, I liked it because of its strong smell, and if you spray enough, you can even feel it on your skin, which I can only imagine the rodents must have felt about it. However, this didn't completely do the job. I did notice there was less traffic but not complete elimination. That's when I decided to be more aggressive. I doubled down on the traps and began spraying this every two or three days. I set up sticky traps all around my house, focusing mainly on putting the traps next to the walls and under tables and furniture—anywhere they might try to make a run for it. I figured that spraying Mighty Mint so much would make them try to enter the actual living space, so I had to prepare for it. Sure enough, they completely moved into the pantry and were making their way out of it too. I caught many on the traps I had set up around the house, and I had also flooded the pantry with traps, so I was catching them there as well. As of today, I am still spraying. I don't hear a single rodent, and I haven't caught any new ones on the traps. They used to tend to stay away from the traps after a period of time but would then start falling for them again; however, this time seems different. I will keep spraying this for another week, then slow down. But I suggest you don't depend on this alone—you will still have those that don't care about the smell and would rather keep eating and destroying what they can. You definitely need this, but use it alongside something else to help you truly get rid of them.

I've used this and recommended it to others before, I saw the big size and ordered it because it is to be used routinely (once weekly I believe) but the sprayer on this big suckered is a nightmare which is why the low stars. I know it works. But only if you can get it out of the bottle. I'm very frustrated and will call their customer service tomorrow for help, I'm considering punching a hole in it and transferring it to a different bottle. What could go wrong right 😆 So... I did call mighty mint customer service. Tremendous help.she instructed me to put the jug on a surface high enough to be able to put the sprayer at a lower level than the jug itself. That did the trick and I'm happy now.

Trust me when I tell you this stuff works on pigeons. I lay it down between 6:00 and 8:00 every morning (10 sprays spread around) on my balcony and the window sills. No pigeons all summer. Even when the rain comes and they get desperate. Just a small note- that long tube that connects the sprayer, when held down too long, starts to fizzle. Just hold it back up for a second straight up and then start to spray again and you'll be fine. And it lasts- the picture I showed is September 2nd. I started using it June 8th and still have over half left.

Although the container shows the exact amount of peppermint oil on the front (you have to zoom in) many potential purchasers and people whom have already bought the product have missed this important factor. 4% seems to be the standard amount from what I've observed across the web. The decision to rate this with 3 stars is due to the small amount of peppermint oil and its seemingly ineffectiveness. That percentage is also why the product is so affordable. I researched pure peppermint or 100% peppermint oil and it is extremely expensive in bulk (more than 24 oz) however that is what you truly need if you want to rid your space of rodents. Some good points: The gallon container has a handle as well as a convenient spray nozzle attached to a hose that's about a foot (give or take) long. It makes it very easy to spray hard to reach areas (behind item's that can't easily be moved, underneath immovable or heavy objects, in corners etc). The scent is not as overwhelming as uncut peppermint oil yet some who have purchased this product have found it strong and offensive to the senses. I like the smell of peppermint oil so that didn't bother me. Depending on how much and how often you spray, it WILL linger for days, gradually dissipating. What did bother me is that we didn't have a mouse or rat infestation so to speak, just probably the mom and a kid or two and despite spraying every nook and cranny of our small living space (often multiple times per day) the one or two little bas**rds were still around! I've used pure/uncut essential peppermint oil in the past (soaking cotton balls and stuffing them in corners and wiping the baseboards and areas I've seen them in/on and where I've noticed their droppings) and it absolutely worked. It kept them out for months and for nearly a year we didn't see any sign of them. I emptied this gallon jug in less than a week and the crafty rodents seemed to have found a space to hide where they were not as effected by the overpowering mint because they were still coming out (albeit very cloak & daggerish--lol) looking for food. Eventually (several weeks later and after finding one of their main exit and entry points and soaking it with 100% Peppermint THEN plugging that hole) they or it left. I hesitate to say that this product doesn't work (esp since other reviews say otherwise) but from the product description my expectations were set high. I was looking to see mice packing up like on the cartoons (Lol). I wouldn't completely count MIGHTY MINT out. I would suggest that if you decide to purchase, try adding a few ounces (I used 16 oz) of essential peppermint oil to the mixture to make it more effective and save the handy jug for future use, especially if you need to dilute your pure oil. Finally keeping the mice off my patio in a humane manner. Smells nice, hope it lasts as it is not cheap but is doing the job so far. Would recommend.

When ai wad contacted by Fedex in Singapore that Seller had to provide some information for inbound customs clearance, I reached out to the customer service via Amazon. The customer service representative told assured me that I don't gave to worry as they will take care from their end! The 4 bottles were delivered to me on 17 March 2026 as per estimated areival date.. Amazing! 2. I just tried the produxt on my garden parameter wall as often the rats came over through gaps from my next door neighbour. I can smell the strong aroma of mint [itd pleadnat to.me!] But hopefully it will repel the rodants!! I don't heae sny grass movement so fsr as usually the rodents moved around on the garden. The smell is pretty strong. 3. What i like about this product is that it uses natural ingredients and not harmful.to.my 3 dogs [although I understand that mint essential oil is toxic to dogs] but the garden is not enclosed so it should be ok. 4. I WANT TO COMPLIMENT THE SELLER FOR THE PROFRSSIONAL PACKAGING. The 4 bottles were individually shrink wrapped and theere were no leakages of the content. The manufacturer is also very meticulous thst they even include a pieve if ehite cloth for wip8ng away any drips or leaks. Than you.

Leí muy buenas críticas, con gusto lo compré, pasó el tiempo, todos los días lo usé, y sólo sirvió para perfumar con olor a menta, pero ningún efecto contra el roedor... Decepción, mucho dinero tirado a la basura.
