Featuring a powerful 750 m³/hr extraction rate, 3-speed push button controls, and energy-efficient LED lighting, it effectively removes smoke and odors while illuminating your cooking space. Its stainless steel and aluminium grease filter is washable, ensuring long-lasting performance and cleaner kitchen surfaces. Ideal for ducted or recirculation setups, this modern, minimalist hood combines functionality with a designer aesthetic to become the centerpiece of any contemporary kitchen. ## Description Installation: This Hood gets attached to your ceiling, by fixing a steel plate to a joist from which the hood will hang. Angled bars are then attached to the hood itself at the desired height and inside both chimney sections. After you have connected the plug and ducting (if venting outside) you simply bolt the angled bars to the ceiling plate. Finally you slide the top chimney section up to the ceiling plate thereby covering the fixtures.Minimum Height: Without modification the minimum height is 990mm You can achieve a minimum height of 750mm by cutting the bottom of the top chimney section. However, any cut items cannot be returnedIsland Hood features: UK 13amp Plug 192W Motor Colour: Stainless Steel Push button control operation 3 speeds 1 washable stainless steel & aluminium grease filter 2 x 1W LED light strips Powerful Extraction capacity: 750 m3/hrType of extraction: Extraction outside possible with 150mm ducting kit like the DK1M150 (not included) Recirculation back into kitchen possible with CCF200 filters (not included) Technical details: Minimum distance from gas hob: 700 mm Minimum distance from electric hob: 650 mm Maximum extraction power: 750 m³/h Number of speeds: 3 Type: Island Filtering: Grease filter Number of filters: 1 pcsWeight & dimensions Width: 350mm Depth: 350mm Height: Please see the technical diagram for more details under imagesPerformance: Energy rating: C Motor power: 64.4 kWh/annum Air flow rating: C Light efficiency: A Grease filter efficiency: C Noise: 72dB ## Features - This cylinder style Cooker hood is suitable for medium to tall ceilings (please check the technical drawing under images) and extends up to your ceiling over an island in your kitchen. The modern finish, LED spot lights and modern push button controls make for a fantastic centre piece that wouldn't look out of place in an upmarket designer kitchen. - In additional to its looks, this island hood features a powerful extraction rate of 750m3/hour, more than enough to easily keep a large kitchen free of smoke and smells. - It has been developed by Cookology so you can either vent outside using a ducting kit such as the DK1M150 (not included) or if you don't have this option, you can use CCF200 carbon filters (not included) to help get rid of smells before allowing the air back into your kitchen through the vents in the chimney. - You get a choice of 3 speeds so you can adjust the power and noise depending on what you're cooking and the LED spot lights add visibility to your kitchen. - The stainless steel & aluminium grease filter is washable and will absorb fatty, greasy residues in the air, helping to prevent sticky grime deposits building up on your appliances and units. To be most effective, it is recommended that you start the extractor in advance to create a flow of air and for obvious reasons the carbon filters will not absorb the large amounts of condensed steam released when boiling water without a lid so follow best practice and use a lid! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07YST3NB6 | | Air Flow Capacity | 750 Cubic Metres Per Hour | | Amperage | 13 Amps | | Best Sellers Rank | 1,320 in Large Appliances ( See Top 100 in Large Appliances ) 3 in Island Vent Hoods | | Brand | Cookology | | Colour | Stainless Steel | | Control Method | Push Button | | Controls Type | Push Button | | Customer Reviews | 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars (40) | | Filter Type | Grease | | Finish Type | Stainless Steel | | IncludedComponents | No additional components included | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 35D x 35W x 99H centimetres | | Item Form | Island | | Item Weight | 17.8 Kilograms | | Item Width | 351.5 Millimetres | | Light Source | LED | | Manufacturer | Cookology | | ManufacturerPartNumber | CYL351 | | MaterialType | Stainless Steel | | Model | CYL351SS | | Mounting Type | Ceiling Mount | | NoiseLevel | 72 Decibels | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Speeds | 3 | | Product Warranty | 1 year. | | SpecialFeatures | Stainless Steel Material | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Vent Hood Design | Island Canopy Hood | | Ventilation Type | Ducted/Vented | | Wattage | 192 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Cookology - **Colour:** Stainless Steel - **Finish type:** Stainless Steel - **Product dimensions:** 35D x 35W x 99H centimetres - **Special feature:** Stainless Steel Material ## Images ![Cookology 35cm Cylinder Island Cooker Hood, Ceiling Mounted Extractor Fan (Stainless Steel) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61vb2W4upXL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Has anyone got a picture of this** A: no **Q: Can this be installed in a sloping ceiling?** A: I would say not unless you build a base to make it vertical **Q: Is it mat or glossy?** A: Matt. **Q: What is the weight of the product?** A: Around 20 - 21kg --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/169211562-cookology-35cm-cylinder-island-cooker-hood-ceiling-mounted-extractor-fan](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/169211562-cookology-35cm-cylinder-island-cooker-hood-ceiling-mounted-extractor-fan) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
