We just shoved it up the chimney stack. No muss no fuss, but make sure you wear safety goggles, lots of chimney smuts raining down on us.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase
I have no damper so I've kept the ugly brass and glass doors that were on the fireplace when we moved in. I finally took the doors off and decided to just block up the fireplace with foam sheeting. That didn't work so I researched other options and found the Flublocker. Very easy to install. We've had single digit temps recently and every time I've put my hand in the fireplace to see if I can feel any cold air I find it's the same temperature as the living room.

It works!
This works! We have dealt with chimney smells for years. It was horrible when we ran a bathroom fan or the dryer in our air tight house. We had a fresh air intake fan installed on heat and air system that we run all the time but still got odors. Installed this yesterday and today we have no smells with bath fan and dryer running! Love it!

Super easy to install
Didn't even know we were losing heat via our chimney until we had an energy audit. Super easy to put together and install.

Save your money. These are not cheap and did not work
Would have sent it back if I could. Did not correct problem. Smell still coming out of fireplace with this insert. Very disappointed

Work's as advertised
I installed this in the chimney as directed and it stays perfectly. I love the "no fire" warning key chain that I have on the tools next to the fireplace to alert anyone who may make a fire that it is in there. The only down side is that it is very messy. Thank you!

Pain to take down
When I want to use the fireplace or I finished using the fireplace it is a bit if a pain. Ashes rain down my head and I get all filthy. Wasn’t the proper size either.

Great product once you get the size right
I bought the wrong size to start with but Chimney Sheep have a size calculator on their website. I returned and ordered correct size and after a rather messy installation there’s no more noise or debris and the living room is warmer. Happy I got this and a decent price
