Keys stick quickly, subpar quality...
I purchased the fully customizable RGB keyboard from AUKEY and in a matter of weeks of light use, several of the keys are sticking and not returning as they should. Nothing was split in it, there is no food eaten around it, it just seems to made of cheap part quality. What good is fancy lighting when the function of the keyboard is not up to par with keyboards that cost half as much? I do not often leave bad reviews, but I hoped to share my disappointment to prevent others from making the same mistake I did. Find another brand, or you will be sorry like I am.***After being contacted by Aukey, they clearly demonstrated a desire to make things right. I erroneously thought that since I had destroyed the original box, I could not return the defective keyboard. They explained that they back their products with a 24 month warranty and that it did not matter. I was send a replacement and the second one has performed flawlessly as of now. I changed my review to reflect this. Kudos to Aukey for backing up their product with some top notch customer service.***

The good old days!
Any of you old timers remember the Fugitsu keyboards of the 90's? They were wonderfully responsive, just like these. I love it, took me a day of fiddling around with all its settings and couldn’t be happier with my own customizations. It really never occurred to me that this kind of keyboard even existed, especially one with all of its cool tweaks. Old guy here, commodore 64 was my first. Thanks too the producers.

Excellent keyboard
If you like a clicky mechanical keyboard at the right price I recommend this keyboard to you. It is well constructed with a metal frame. It is definitely solid. The keys themselves seem to be excellent quality and the keycaps are high quality. This keyboard is great for home use, either for work or gaming. I mostly use it for work. This is a loud keyboard, so if you use it near others they might be disturbed. Strange, since I remember a time when we all had mechanical typewriters at our desks at work and we were key-clicking up a storm.. Office noise was just accepted as the norm back then. I have to mention that you can customize the the colors. You can have this keyboard display a dazzling light show or turn that off completely. You can also vary the intensity of the light. I like my keyboard to be a dim and whitish light. While I am a touch typist, the lighting keeps me oriented especially when I have to find the keys that are not on a typical typewriter. I am told that Cherry-brand keycaps will fit on this keyboard but I doubt I will ever need that level of customization. All told, this keyboard is an excellent purchase for a mechanical keyboard.

High quality and feature rich for only $26!
So far this have been an exceptional purchase and I have been pleasantly surprised. This feels like a heavy mechanical keyboard but without the excessive clicking noise or the need to remove and reinstall individual keys then add dozens of individual rubber bumpers to quiet the clicking sound! The LED back-lighting is superb and keeps me from having to use additional lights at night. The competitor's version of this keyboard (Razor Chroma) starts at $90 and goes up from there. I would have easily paid $50 and not thought twice if I had a chance to try it out in a store first. For gaming its phenomenal! I will buy additional keyboards for my children's PCs.CONS for a thorough review (though I'm being finicky):1. It's heavy so if you are looking for a "mobile" keyboard DON'T buy this unless you also want a workout!2. Some colors (Red, Dark Blue, Purple) my older eyes have trouble seeing the letters and symbols of certain keys so I choose white, green, yellow, or light blue. Youngsters or those with near-sighted corrected lenses may not experience an issue3. The keys are tall (as is a true mechanical KB) so if you are used to a "Chiclet-type" laptop KB this may take some practice as your fingers have to move further4. The LED "alert" lights for Num-lock, Caps-lock, etc. are not color changeable and stay at a light blue color.

It's good
PROS:-It has a nice weight to it. When you pick it up it feels solid and heavy without being too heavy. As someone that types with their keyboard on their lap, it's great.-It doesn't ghost. I type quickly and usually struggle with keyboards lagging and I have to pause to let it catch up. This keeps up very well.-It's nice to look at. The back lights are pretty without being overbearing and you can shut them off-There's no light that remains on when the computer is shut down. I've had this issue with keyboards before in gaming where they would remain on even though the computer was put in sleep/turned off. Thankfully this one doesn't do that.-The keys feel stable when typing and comfortable-A lot of light functions you just have to look it up online to find what it is or you can play around with your keyboardCONS:-The noise. As someone who LOVES the sounds of clacking/clicking keys on a keyboard, I expected to be perfectly fine with how loud the keys would be. I wasn't prepared for /that/ much noise. I'll get used to it but it will definitely annoy anyone sitting nearby. I can promise you thatAll in all, it's a nice keyboard, but does have it's cons.

On a budget awesome.
What can I say...I like Aukey in general.I bought this keyboard for my new pc. I didnt have high expectationsBy all means the switches are not Razer yellows or anything but, quality for the money is great, weight for the money is great as well. No bloatware, everything by FN key. And it's good! Casual gaming for HTPC great. The switches are good in the middle, gentle tap non existant, harder punch bottom out and stay there. If you can learn the switch it's very ok. I gave it 5 stars and expect next gen of Aukey to be better. Red dragon watch out lol. Love Aukey's profile on this. I'm happy, let's see how long these switches last.I will repost if anything happens.

Amazing!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I would have been satisfied to pay more than $100 for this keyboard, but I got it for $55! :)- As in the video, there are so many beautiful color options (I didn't film the custom ones and omitted some basic styles too)- The material is good and sturdy, the keycaps are matte black and feel smooth, they are indented for comfort- Keyboard came with no defects, nicely packaged and included a keycap remover- The keys are raised higher than other keyboards, which I like for easy cleaning- All the buttons work, FN works with the F1, F2, etc... keysPossible cons:- The cord is sturdy, though it is slightly more to the left (not obvious) so it doesn't bother me- Switches are a bit louder than I expected. Since they are linear, it's very easy to push down. It's sensitive so in case you accidentally push a different key, you might make typos. For me, it was easy to get used to- The bigger keys (shift, space, backspace, enter) sound a little more clicky. In the spacebar, it sounds a little springy. I will lube my keyboard anyways so the sound will be quieter and not as springy so this does not bother me much

Good keyboard for the money. It's super loud.
I don't know much about mechanical keyboards but this is enjoyable to type and game on for 60 bucks on sale. I'd tried a friends Havit mechanical keyboard before I bought this and this feels a little bit better and they cost about the same too. Biggest difference is the keys on the Aukey feel a little heavier, have a longer travel and are much louder/clickier. The switches are very tactile and satisfying to use though and I prefer this keyboard over the Havit. Keycaps are ABS and feel cheap - they wobble a bit too but it doesn't ruin the experience for me. This keyboard *is* cheap afterall. You could always put a PTB set of caps on this as Aukey uses the same keys as Cherry MX and others. It's super loud though - if that is important to you. It will annoy people in an office for sure. RGB lighting is just right - not too bright or dim and the preset patterns are fine enough for me. I really like the thin RGB bezel that goes around the edge of the chassis too. Overall, I am enjoying this keyboard for the price and its fun to type on.
