I have mixed feelings about this Deneses Very Gentle Shampoo and Body Wash. It has some great qualities and some not so great qualities. So I will start with the cons. 1. When this shampoo arrived, I opened it and discovered it didn't have a safety seal on it, just a piece of clear tape holding the lid shut. This makes me uncomfortable because you don't know if it's been tampered with. 2. The smell of this wash is a little too strong, my 3 year old son is not a fan of the smell, so he won't let me use it on him. 3. The price is a bit steep for a bottle of shampoo / body wash. Now, let me share with you the pros of this shampoo & body wash. 1. It is formulated with 100% natural essential oils. 2. It is Dermatologically tested, that is very reassuring! 3. It is free of coloring agents and parabenes. 4. The bottle is very nice and comes with a generous amount of shampoo in it. 5. It seems to work well on sensitive skin, my 18 month old daughter sometimes gets rashes from soaps and similar products, but this one actually helped hydrate her skin without any bad reactions! 6. It lathers up very nicely and makes the skin feel soft and hydrated! And last but not least, 7. The shipping was very fast and the packaging was done very well for the shipping process. So, in my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons. It is a good product, and I would recommend it, because of the benefits it offers, I may not be a fan of the smell but it does work great on my daughters sensitive skin, the good outweighs the bad. I did receive a discounted rate on this product in exchange for a 100% honest review. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own and are all based on my own personal experience with this product.

It is not refreshing as the Denenes cologne. I would not buy it again.

Denenes 650 ml. Very Gentle Shampoo & Bodywash from Denenes...I have a brand new grandson who was a premie so when it comes to putting stuff on his little body I am very cautious as to what is in the products for his health. With the Denenes Very Gentle Shampoo and body wash I was happy to see that the company does list all the ingredients on the bottle. I do wish that they would put in place a safty seal on the opening of the bottle for that added safety and for parents peice of mind. I used this on myself before using on my 3-year-old grandson or the new born. I like the feel of the shampoo it is gentle to the body and does not leave a soapy film on your body. As for the smell of this product, kind of strong and a bit over whelming to a little guy when you are trying to convence him to let you wash his hair and asking him to trust you not to get in his eyes, did not work so well. Ended up being a night mare for him so I will not wash his hair with this product again, but will use as a body wash or bubble bath. I don;t think that this product is a right fit for my family but I did give it a try and I thank the company for allowing me to review this product.DISCLOSURE: Product received to test with the option to review. I had a great experience with the Deneses Very Gentle Shampoo and Body Wash. The smell is great, not too overwhelming, but a nice scent. I’m not a hippy weird all-natural needy person, so if you can stand a few cleansing ingredients/chemicals to wash your kids, then just use water—and hope for the best. But if you enjoy having clean kids, good smelling shampoo and body wash and like a nice sudsy lather than this is a good product. All of my kids used it including us parents and we had no negative effects. The shampoo worked well and came out of our hair just fine and dandy. The item was shipped to me very quickly, arrived in good condition and the packaging and labels were all intact and professionally done. Another positive is that this shampoo is formulated with 100% natural essential oils and it’s been tested, so overall great job and we’ve had no allergic reactions anytime that we used it. Even with sensitive skin I feel this body wash is fine. And obviously you’ll want to avoid getting it in your eyes, but my young children had no complaints, but they’re not stupid either and don’t squirt shampoo in their faces. Overall, I’d recommend this product for the quality, price and all the key ingredients you want in a safe body wash. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. Thank you.
