This replaced an earlier version. I absolutely love it! Works extremely well; allows me to watch Sky and Netflix; keeps me in contact with friends and family. Love it.

I wanted a tablet again, mainly to play games on and watch videos. And for that it is very useful. However be aware the camera is not top quality so if you are getting this tablet based on photography you will be disappointed. But for genuine use and the price I'd say its good. The screen saver part is awkward though, I clicked i didn't want Google assistance now there's a black screen when it's charging not pictures, at the moment. But I'd say the battery is very good. The speakers for its size are definitely great quality. :)

Got this to replace my Google Nexus tablet that i've had for a number of years. Similar size and weight although this one seems more square than rectangular.Had it up and running straight out of the box, the dock was a requirement and works well for charging (less wear and tear on the USB port). The screen is a lot better than the Nexus but it is a lot more modern device. The sound is a whole new level, very crisp and i can hear things that i didn't before in some apps and games.I use it for browsing the internet, email and a few time-wasters. It performs well in all i use it for so far.Downsides: I don't really prefer the metal case to a 'rubberised' more grippy type finish. The device updated itself to the latest version of android it can run comfortably and changed all the personalisations I had made in the few days between receiving it and the update.Accessing local files has changed with Chrome (the browser the tablet has installed as default) but i figured that out.For the price and utility it is a great swap for the Nexus and feels like a quality item. Pleased with it.

This tablet is compact, slim and perfectly capable for my entertainment purposes, includinng YouTube and Audible. Build quality is excellent, and battery life exceptional. Once out of the box, and connected to the internet, it immediately updated itself to Andoid 10.The screen is acceptable, being HD, though the sound through the twin speakers is a bit thin, even with Dolby. Since I use bluetooth earbuds or a connection to the car, this really isn't a problem. This replaces an older Lenovo tablet, and I have not been disappointed.

I have a few of these M8s. My 2 kids have their own, my 78 year old Dad, and me too (although I rarely use mine). They have great build quality, feel nice to hold and have a really nice display. The charging dock works really well too. All great features for this price point (we paid between £90 and £110).However they are sooo slow. Unbelievably slow.Many games are just completely unplayable.Even internet browsing is a labourious process.The tablet is just so underpowered it's frustrating.The kids watch You Tube and YT Kids, and honestly that's about all they are good for.

The media could not be loaded. Used my Google login and set to childrens mode. Installed amazon kids, BBC kids and YouTube kids. Works really well. Quicker than the 'very popular tablet' for kids we had before. Bought a case and screen cover from amazon and both fit well. Not sure it would do for gaming as we've never tried.

I like the size and that it is light weight and fits in my handbag like a kindle. The screen is clear, but I don't seem to be able to zoom in and out of pages with fine adjustment as I could with my Samsung so sometimes pages and print are too big or small. It is hard to find information about how to do things with it, little information is supplied about setting it up and using and there isn't always something on the internet. Eg moving apps and data to an SD card. The camera and sound are ok, I wasn't expecting high quality as this is a cheaper tablet. So far the batter life is excellent, often lasting a couple of days. Generally it works quickly, but it seems to freeze sometimes for no reason and I end up having to close the app. It seems to come with a lot of pre loaded. Stuff. I've removed some I don't want but can't remove others and they use a lot of space on it. I was quickly up to 70% full so had to buy an SD card.

I am a great supporter of Lenovo products 3tablets and 1 laptop. Always have great performance,build quality would always recommend, many brands out there but for value for money in this sector they can't be beaten. Would buy again!!!
