Only thing I'll use, now!
The only thing I'd remembered about paper litter was the negative, the fact that you can't just sift out the wet bits with a straining scoop. (tips on that to follow) But, my cat Tesla got a serious infection from clay litter compacted in a claw, and we had to switch to paper litter till it healed.I have two of their 4 litter boxes in one tiny room. The shelves and everything in there are always covered in white dust from clay litter. I clean it away and it's everywhere again in no time. The grit from clay always gets spread everywhere and scratches the floors. Not having that dust anymore is reason enough to switch to fresh news. My Asthmatic cat certainly agreesPros:With the paper litter, there's no cloud of dust in my face when I clean the boxes, and no floor grit.I don't have to worry about any more toe infections from impacted clay in claws. One 25 lb bag of paper litter is lasting me twice as long as a 30 lb bucket of clay litter.Cheaper, because it lasts longer. It's a great way to make use of recycled paper.I'm can compost it.Available in UNSCENTED! fragrances are bad for cats and perfume+poo doesn't smell any better than just poo. If you're allergic to most added fragrances (like I am) this is extra important.Since I'm allergic to soy inks the compost will only be for flowers, not veg, but that's still better than piles of clay in a land fill.Tips:The more often you scoop, the easier it is to find the used bits. Litter boxes should always be scooped daily, regardless of litter type, but doing it frequently also makes it easier to spot peed-on litter before it dries. If your cat pees only small amounts at a time, the paper can dry out before you go to scoop. If this happens, look for swollen bits. Thicker bits mean they expanded from having gotten wet.Tesla covers his tiny pee spots, so I gently scoop back top bits until I see lower bits that look a bit swollen or are coming apart. I scoop out swollen ones and some around it.My other cat, Schroedinger, has serious excess urination and doesn't cover anything. This litter can handle her buckets of pee, as the paper just swells up and soaks it up like sponges.I heavily recommend using biodegradable puppy pee pads as liners in the boxes. If a dribble gets through the gaps between paper bits, they absorbs it. Every so often I let the boxes get low. After scooping, I pour unused litter into a bag and put the liner in my paper compost, add a new liner, and dump the litter back in.Plastic absorbs odors. I used to have to empty, scrub, and soak our boxes ever so often to appease my picky cat. Paper doesn't stick to the plastic like clay, so it would be easier now even if I didn't use the liners. But with the liners, I don't usually bother. Sometimes I mist the bottom of the box with alcohol and let it dry before putting in a new liner.

Best Litter in the World
Newspaper pellets are the best best cat litters, stop messing around with the dust, sand or crystal kinds. (Even pine pellets take the smell of urine so badly-) newspaper pellets are the best cat litter thank God Amazon has this available. No mess, no tracking, no smell. I use these newspaper pellets litter with stainless steel litter boxes. This is the move.

This is a good long-lasting litter at a very good price
This is a very low dust litter that does not track all over the house. It is very easy to change the old for new litter and the cat usually gets about 7-10 days of use before I need to change it. Also, There is no "wet" spot in the bottom of the pan where litter would have to be scraped off the pan. It is one of the best paper litter I have used it seems to last a long time

It’s okay
Never used pellets before for cat litter but I needed to buy some in a hurry for our new kitten who has special litter needs. This was one of the first few I came across with better ish reviews so I bought it. It’s okay. I have the same concerns as other reviewers about the plastic in the pieces. There was a lot. The pee just gets absorbed into the pieces so it starts to smell bad after a short time. It worked for a what I needed as a starter bag of pellets for a first time pellet user in a hurry. I wouldn’t buy it again though

Great paper litter
Purchased for my cat after foot surgery, who was in a splint and on crate rest for about 8 weeks. To keep things clean, paper pellets were recommended by the surgeon. Worked perfectly and she had zero issues adapting from traditional clay litter. The pellets worked great at absorbing all fluids, though once dried, would separate again, instead if clumping, making it hard to distinguish clean from soiled pellets. Solids sort of clumped, but not well. Just to make things easier and keep as clean as possible, I'd scoop solids as soon as they were produced and dump/refill litter every couple days to clear litter soiled from fluids. As the pellets absorb everything, nothing ever stuck to the tray, like traditional litter, making it easy to dump. After dumping, I'd just spray the tray with cleaner, wipe clean and refill. By doing this, we never really had an odor problem, but it did feel wasteful (and time consuming!). I'd go through 1 large bag per week for just 1 single cat with 2 litter boxes. I know how bad clay litter is and would absolutely use exclusively for all 7 of my cats if more affordable and efficient.

No sandy feet!
I must admit, I am a (reformed?) dog person. I’ve lived with cats before and always hated the feel of sandy litter on the floor. So when we took in a stray 4 week old kitten that I feel in love with, I dreaded a life of feeling like I lived on a beach. This style of litter was recommended to start training our kitten once she could potty in her ownand a second cat and a year later I’m still happy with it the stuff. Our cats do kick it out sometimes (all the time) but it’s so nice that they don’t track it around, any that’s on the floor I just sweep up and drop back in the box. I would say we use more of this stuff than traditional cat litter but the trade off is worth it to me.There’s no dust, it doesn’t really clump but I poke around in the box like an archaeologist and it’s easy to scoop out. We recently switched to the multi cat scented formula and I’m not sure how much it helps with the smell as the original style was adequate and only one of our cats bury but it does make the box smell better during cleaning. As long as they keep making this stuff we’ll keep using it.
