I really like this detangling brush. It works great on both wet and dry hair and does a good job of detangling without pulling or snagging. The plastic bristles are flexible and bend as I brush through my hair, which I feel has helped with less shedding compared to other brushes I’ve used.I also like that the bristles return to their original shape after bending, so they don’t stay bent or look worn down after use. The holes throughout the brush are another great feature because they make it really easy to clean and remove any hair left behind.Overall, I’m really happy with this brush. It’s gentle, effective, and easy to clean.

For decades I had been paying someone to relax and take care of my hair because as a teacher, I was always in the public’s eye, and felt that I looked better with relaxed hair. Lots of money over the years. Enters COVID-19; on July 20, 2021, my hairdresser cancels my appointment under the suspicion that she had contracted the virus. I thought to myself: ‘this is a great time to go natural and save me some money!’. It will be three years in July that I have gone natural, but I still don’t know how to take care of my 3 something, 4 something low porosity hair. My hair is soft under that mixture hair type just mentioned but it is very dry; I acknowledge that this is totally my fault because I should be moisturizing it every week, but for one reason or another, I don’t. Last year on July 13, I went to a salon for the first time since July 2021 and got a big chop on my shoulder length hair, because it tangled so easily, and I no longer wanted to deal with it. Got some temporarily relief while my hair was short, but as the hair begun to grow, the tangling problem persisted, leading me to REGRET very much my decision to have it chopped, realizing that all I needed was a good detangling cream and some unrushed time loving and taking care of my hair. I probably have bought about 17 different kinds of wet brushes in the attempt to get my hair detangled, but none of them work. Enters UNBRUSHED! I literally just received my Amazon order now and ran to the bathroom to try it on my almost shoulder length (again) hair. Tried a portion of the dry hair on the back but couldn’t tell much of a difference, although the brush went through smoothly but pulled a bit of hair. I used a water bottle to spray my hair a little bit and, VOILA! It worked like magic! I started on the ends, and eventually moved toward the roots slowly. It did a great job detangling my hair. Yes, there was some hair on the brush still, (I guess that is normal), but nothing compared to the amount of hair that usually comes out from breaking when I use the wide tooth comb. I feel that this brush will first help me to take better care of my hair (often I just don’t want to deal with it, and let my hair go without doing anything to it for days, which makes it dry and tangled), but also it will cause less breakage and help with the growth. I am super pumped to take care of my hair now. I just braided it and will keep it like that if I don’t need to go out of the house. I LOVE THIS BRUSH and highly recommend it to anyone who struggles with dry or easily tangled hair. JUST BE GENTLE WITH YOUR HAIR, and this brush will work with you!

Love this brush! It works great on both wet and dry hair, and make detangling much easier without all the pulling and pain. I haven't experienced any tearing or damage to my hair while using it, which is a huge plus. I also love that it's easy to clean, hair comes out of the brush without a struggle. Shipping was also fast, which is always a bonus. Overall, this has been a great brush for making detangling quicker and much less painful. Definitely happy with my purchase!

Material and make feel flimsy but I think that's just from years of Conair brush feel. I absolutely love this brush. It helped my postpartum hair from snapping. I love how reliable and confident I can brush my hair with minimal fallout. I use in the shower with conditioner. My hair curls when wet. But it's like a straight-hair poof fro when it dries. I've trained my frizz. It's long and needs a trim but each strand has a kink to it.

I really did love this item, but at a certain point, it broke. This brush worked very well and asked someone with foresee hair. I felt like it de tangled my hair without pain. Sadly, after a couple months of use (which I think was really good considering it’s plastic) it cracked I still continued using it because I thought it wouldn’t really matter, but in the end it ended up fully breaking. Nevertheless, I still really liked this brush and I want to re-buy.

5 stars! This brush is perfect for textured hair. I love the open-back design because it allows water to flow through the brush and into the hair while washing and detangling. It glides through the hair easily without feeling bulky or difficult to use.The brush is lightweight. The open design also makes the brush incredibly easy to clean, which is a huge bonus. I love this brush just as much as my Tangle Teezer and would definitely recommend it for anyone with textured hair!

I'll start off with saying I am a regular customer, with no following or clout to chase for this review, but I was flooded with countless videos about this brush on TikTok. I didn't want to believe any of them. The reviews were too positive and everyone was getting a commission so I didn't know what was true and what wasn't. But I couldn't deny that some of the videos were convincing as I watched the tangles get removed. So I found it on my own on Amazon...all I can say is wow!!I have very long, dense 4b hair, but my hair gets dry easily and I am learning how to care for my natural textures since I grew up religiously getting silk presses. The hardest part of caring for my natural texture is detangling this jungle on the back of my head. My hair reaches my lower back and it's such a pain to brush through it all. I often have to take breaks because I would be actively brushing my hair for an hour and my arms would be on fire.This brush has changed everything for me!!! I went to brush through my hair yesterday and this brush glided through with almost no effort. It didn't slide on top of my hair either, it went all the way through to my ends and I started about halfway up as a test to see what would happen. I was in shock! I just stared at myself in the mirror in disbelief. A couple more passes and the difference was undeniable compared to my normal paddle brush. It only took me 30 minutes to detangle my head all the way from the roots to the ends (which is incredible considering I would normally take an hour of active brushing). I didn't even need to change brushes. Normally I use my wide tooth comb, back it up with a paddle brush and then a smaller brush to get everything detangled. I did my entire head with this brush and followed it up with a normal tooth comb...No kinks left in sight! And the brush is lightweight so my arms felt great still when I was done.Best of all? It didn't hurt at all! I am very tender headed in the back and normally have to work my way from the ends to the roots in tiny chunks to prevent pulling my hair because it would hurt. I felt no pain as this brush separated the strands for me. I didn't even have a crazy amount of hair pulled out like I do with my normal brush. The backing is plastic and has holes so it is insanely easy to clean and you don't have to worry about mildew or germ buildup as long as you wipe it down periodically. I've been calling everyone I know to let them know that the tik tok reviews were not joking! I don't recommend ordering through TikTok since some of those brushes are dupes/knockoffs, but this one right here is the real deal and everybody deserves one!

Best brush ever! Especially if you have long hair. I have curly hair underneath (think undercoat like a poodle) with long slick hair on top. I get tangles that make me want to shave my head. This brush has saved my hair and peace of mind. I don't worry about mats anymore or dread washing my hair whereas before it was always a nightmare with the tangles. I can't recommend it enough if you get tangles, mats, or if you have long hair you have to baby to keep it long and healthy. This brush will get the tangles out while saving the rest of the hair. Love it. Would marry it if I could.
