I have read through most of the book and found it to be full of useful techniques and descriptions of router accessories. The book starts with a general description of routers and bits. It then describes the construction and use of common jigs and router tables. The rest of the book is focused on applications such as templating, surfacing, cutting dados, joinery, etc. It is a good read, full of useful illustrations, and makes a good long-term reference.Two specific highpoints:The author presents an excellent description of why a router tends to veer off course when hand-held and why the veering depends on feed direction and bit rotation direction. Understanding why leads to better techniques for controlling the router when using a fence or template. To me, this lesson was worth the cost of the book.There is a description of the design of a sled used to hold workpieces on a router table. The sled improves safety and accuracy.
