SkechersMen's Afterburn M. Fit Reprint

I returned these shoes therefore I cannot speak to their long term performance. The 4 stars are based on a close examination of the shoes over all construction, stitching and general appearance including about 5 minutes of wear and walking on a carpeted floor. They were nice and I really wanted to keep them. Having to return them was no big deal because anyone who's honest knows Amazon provides hassle free returns and therefore shouldn't be leaving 1 star butt hurt, woe is me review, but that's my opinion.This shoe is far better than others I've seen easily costing $15-20 more. I've deducted 1 star because of sizing issues. Having worn an 11D for most of my adult life and not seeing complaints regarding the shoe being too big by a significant number of the haters, those who articulate their dissatisfaction with adjectives like: crap, junk, trash, etc.I've always paid considerably more for footwear because you truly you get what you pay for. If my feet hurt everything hurts which makes me one miserable SOB to be around. Footwear is like building, whether it be a bungalow or a bridge, if you go cheap and cut corners on the foundation it is inevitable that problems will follow. And sometimes those problems are catastrophic. I bought these shoes because I have a friend of considerable means but wears and loves his Sketchers. For that matter I've never met anyone who didn't like their Sketchers, and besides that Howie Long who can afford pretty much anything he wants tells me how wonderful his Sketchers are every time I turn the TV on.

This is a great shoe. It is very comfortable to wear with it's memory foam foot bed. I am very happy with this shoe and will buy again in the future when needed. I work as a physical therapist and am on my feet constantly for 10hrs a day. It is so comforting for me to have every step I take feel like i'm stepping on marshmallows. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day and thats great. Skechers has other shoes that feel the same way because I tried out a handful of them but decided to go with this style and color. The stamina cutback is another skechers shoe that feels like this one does and looks great. The price is right on these shoes also.

2017.12.25 - Very disappointed with these shoes. The bottoms of the insides where your feet make contact are somewhat lumpy and uneven. This is felt by high spots in areas where there should not be; mostly near the front of the foot. At first your feet may not notice the lumps, but as you wear them the lumps become noticeable and with time even more uncomfortable. In one shoe they began to cause pain. This is not an isolated incident as we bought 2 very similar pairs of shoes with the Skechers logo. We exchanged one pair on their free return/exchange offer, but the exchanged pair was just as bad, but with lumps in other areas of the foot.On one pair of shoes, I attempted to remedy the situation myself by removing the factory insole. Just a word of caution. These insoles are glued in; it is near impossible to remove the factory insole. If you use custom orthodics or insoles, these are not the shoes for you. I tore the factory insoles out piece by piece and then scraped the inside bottom of the shoe with an old round nose butter knife to remove pretty much all of the factory insole. After removing the factory insole, I inserted my own insoles, but it did not remedy the problem.Some how or another these shoes are being manufactured as quickly and cheaply as possible with blatant disregard as to whether or not they are going to be usable. Shame on our American corporations for putting us in this position.We bought two pair, exchanged one, and in three pairs of shoes none were usable due to discomfort, foot pain and lumpiness. I destroyed the insoles in one pair, but ended up returning the other two.

I've owned some sneakers that cost four times as much and a few that cost $15 less. These are as out of the box comfortable as any others I've owned. They seem well made and will probably last a good long time. I've got a pair of $30 Willson brand that I bought about ten years ago; I've warn them nearly every day and I'll still wear then if I need to do some painting. I'm hoping these Skechers will last as long. Did I mention that these shoes are very comfortable?

My son has worn the same shoe since fifth grade!! We’ve tried others. He started somewhere around a size 7W and is now he’s in college at a size 10 1/2 Wide. He’s worn them to work, chasing trains at railroads, all over the US! We always have a nice pair and a dirty pair. As the new ones get dirty, he uses them for playing or work and we order new ones for good. Most of the time we order the all black. Sometimes we can’t find all black and have to get grey accents. I just wish they lasted longer!! But they last longer then the Sketchers steal toe work boot hikers. We are all fans of Sketchers though.

I walked ten miles this morning and thought they felt great but by the end they hurt my feet. Will give them another shot tomorrow.I came back to further update as I have still been doing my ten mile walks. Shoe is better then I thought and are my go to workout shoe now. Will buy again.Another update as I bought these again and did my ten miles today feeling great.The first time I bought these they had laces that were too long glad they fixed that.Many people I see complain that sneakers fall apart after 6 months and I laugh.Anyone that spends under $50 and expects a shoe to last past 6 months is an unreasonable person.Great product.

Let's just say the higher price typically means higher quality..this would work in a dry environment but my husband works in a freezer most of the day and these not only put blisters on the BOTTOM of his feet but the material inside just crumbled to bits leaving him with a plastic piece that's been digging into his Achilles tendon all this time. Anyway all I can advise to the next buyer is these shoes are just ok. If you want your feet to be taken care of keep scrolling. These are also quite bulky and heavy so not a great one for standing/running around for 8-10 hour days

At last!!!!!! a pair of trainers that fit me. As I have very wide feet I have always bought shoes too big, for me to get the correct width. I now know that a 4E fits me so thankyou.

Another great shoe/trainer.from sketchers. I have a number of Sketcher shoes because they are so comfortable ans supportive

Very comfortable, properly wide fitting. Seem to be well made too.
