FAMCÜTE 5" Paring Knife, Hand-Forged Japanese Small Knife for Easy Control

Likes: The way that the handle was made and then transitions into the blade makes the knife extremely comfortable and easy to grip. The quality of the blade is made with some of the best materials that I’ve ever used when it comes to knife blades. The blade is so sharp that I can easily cut through any food that I need to cut through even frozen food. It’s very easy to use and just feels amazing in the hand no matter what I’m using it to cut. It has the perfect balance of weight between the handle and the knife or the perfect balance. There are two different styles on each side of the knife blade that makes no food stick to the knife and also when I use it to cut through packaging it does not leave little pieces of the packing throughout the food like knives usually do. I really love this knife it also comes in a really nice knife box so I have a safe place to store it away in. Dislikes: Really there isn’t much bad at all that I can say about this knife but I did see when I opened the knife that the tip guard that covers the tip of the knife and the plastic cover that goes over the blade the blade had cut through it but that just shows how sharp the knife is. I would’ve also like to have seen it cover with a knife sheath but it really is perfect in every way.

I love it, it cuts very well, and stainless steel makes it even better, really for cooking lovers this knife is amazing, I want more of these.

I have several Japanese knives and this one is right up there with some much more expensive. Came very sharp out of the box. Nice feel. Looks great.

For the price, this knife is a great performer. Since this knife is made from a softer metal, I am able to bring an edge to this relatively quickly. Thus making this a great beater knife in a professional setting. I'm not necessarily afraid to use this on metal (cutting something whilst in a sheet tray or using it to puncture a can of oil....come on we've all been there in a professional kitchen). Having said that, the only thing that kept me from giving this full marks is the thickness of this knife. While making this knife thick gives this knife for durability, it does keeps me from making some of the more precise cuts that a thinner knife would allow.

Great balance for a small knife. It feels very nimble when trimming meat or breaking down chicken, and it also works effortlessly for smaller fruits and vegetables. A really well-made knife, very impressed.

I was looking for a knife to fillet chicken, and I made a great purchase. It is made of high quality steel, and its handle features a very comfortable design. I am left-handed, and not all knives are easy for me to use, but I can handle this one with total ease.

The knife is ok. It was not very sharp upon arrival and the feel of the knife is not very ideal. It looks fancy but the user experience was not very enjoyable. For the price I think there are much better knives available but if you want a fancy looking knife them this will get the job done.

I work at a busy bar and this knife is amazing! great for cutting garnish!
