Dad's Bible: New Century Version, Green, The Fathers Plan

So far I love the Bible. My plan this year is to read this devotional bible from genesis to revelation. I am a Pastor I must say this this is a great Bible to read during your devotional time with the Lord. For more in depth study of course you’ll need a more literal translation. Devotional time with this simple translation is great especially with the fathers plan notes throughout the Bible. The pages are a little thin, I suggest highlighting with colored pencils. Also it has a glued binding which isn’t a bad thing considering I purchased a used copy through amazon for around $7 dollars. New believers often ask which study Bible should I get. I usually say niv or esv study Bible. From now on I may suggest this as a cheap way to understand gods word and start building devotional time in the word.

Great book, my husband is excited to jump into it deeper. Love the thought process and encouragement. I took off a star because it had THREE massive stickers on the book where it took me almost 30 minutes to get them off with goof off to where I didn't ruin the cover or get any pages goopy.

This was a gift to my son who lost his old one. He really likes this Bible!

Using this on my cell phone has been very easy and being a e-media backup Bible is vrry helpful when I am without a readily available hard copy!

Great leather cover. Print size is very readable and the Dad commentary's are great for Husbands and fathers.

NOTES ARE OKAY. PAGE PAPER IS VERY THIN. NCV IS A GOOD TRANSLATION. ESPECIALLY IF READ WITH THE NASB AT HAND.
