True Nutrition Hydrolyzed Collagen Powder, Unflavored, 1lb

This is an excellent protein powder! 32 g of protein for one scoop. There is no flavor, and it dissolves immediately in my hot coffee, I don’t even have to stir it! It doesn’t alter the flavor at all, there is no odor, or flavor alteration.

I like that it has no taste and dissolves pretty easily so it can be put in nearly anything (I add it to my coffee and can't tell it's there.) I have no idea if it's actually doing anything for me, but I think the product is of a good quality and I very much like the fact that it's 100% collagen and not filler or other strange ingredients.

I've been using True Nutrition since 2005, and they have always had the best quality products, service, and delivery. Their hydrolyzed beef collagen mixes with ease, and it's tasteless, so it goes good in almost any liquid drink. I add it to my whey isolate protein shakes (also True Nutrition), and my kids are picky eaters, so I add it into their milk drinks and smoothies. I use it primarily for skin, hair, and joint health. I've seen improvements in both skin and hair appearance, as well as fingernail health. I have bum shoulders, and at 45 years old, and years of heavy weight training and everyday activity, I take it to hopefully prevent further degradation or injury. My shoulders seem better getting 30-60 grams per day as long as I don't do anything stupid. My wife also uses it for her skin and hair health, and she usually ignores every advice I suggest...<sigh>.

Wow, this Is disgusting, it tastes like burnt hair or something disgusting. I like their other products but this is horrible! I have used any collagen powders and they have almost no taste. Well this does and it is not good!

Good protein powder, got the unflavored version and there was minimal taste when mixed with just water. Huge pro is that it dissolves very well in water. It is quite pricey for 1lb, and there was some clumping when mixing with a thicker base like milk/yogurt/oatmeal.

Although this appears to be a superior product, when I opened the exterior Amazon envelope, there was product lining the entire interior area. I had to put the product/powder in jars. I didn't see any damage so I assume this was an altitude issue fed thru a tiny fissure that wasn't visible to the naked eye.

The taste wasn’t as bad as I’ve heard, you just have to find the right temp when you mix it, water for me.

I purchased this food supplement based upon the online description telling the reader that the product is the highest quality source of collegen. When I received the product, there is a statement on the back of the package stating the following. "This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. I don't live in California, but I suspect that whatever this chemical is, it effects humans in all states. Since the product is a food, I cannot return it. In fairness, if you shift from the main description posted online to the back of the product bag, you can read this statement. I'm sorry to say I did not fully scruitinize the advertisement. This product is now in the trash bin and I have wasted money.
