Excellent device for foot drop
Love this product, comfortable and helps greatly with my foot drop. Much better than that very expensive contraption the doctor recommended.

Good product with adjustable straps
Good use of the brace with its adjustments and sturdy, and supportive. I’d recommend a size higher for anyone, as you could adjust it!

Good product, but part broke after 3 months.
This my second time buying this product. It works really well for my drop foot. However, has anyone had the plastic part the shoe strap, the part that attaches the strap to the shoe, brake?

Great product
This made a big difference in my walking. I have a Humpty Dumpty body that includes a drop foot from a passed out driver in 2016. Between other life surgeries, wearing an AFO every day or not wearing daily, and downtime, my drop foot began causing more issues with walking and tripping, when my foot was exhausted. And, wearing my AFO daily caused other leg issues. Finally, I was able to search and found this. Reviews were unfavorable for velcro piece. However, I used the strap included, which was easier. DID GREAT. Be prepared for muscle adjustments, along with better walking. Have not tripped with my drop foot.

works so so
I purchased this to treat my foot drop (right foot) in addition to some other braces I have that unfortunately, prevent me from driving a motor vehicle safely, as I cannot flex my foot for the accelerator pedal very well. This brace is designed to attach to your leg, just above the ankle, and has a clip attached with cables to attach to your shoe laces, which means it requires you to be wearing shoes with shoe laces. The cables can have tension adjusted by rotating the knob, and then locking into position. In use, it works ok when walking, my foot does heal-toe better then without a brace, but not as well as the larger non-flexing brace. Biggest benefit is that it flexes enough so I can drive. But this is not a brace that will help in improving my foot drop.

Comfortable and helps with keeps you from stubbing your toe!
I have a drop foot after having hip replacement and the doctor made my leg over an inch too long, so I developed a drop foot because of me walking unevenly and not being able to walk heel to toe. I was constantly stubbing my toe and falling down. I just recently had to have my other hip replaced and the Dr. evened me out. The home health care nurse recommended this to me and it helps me walk better. Keeps me from stubbing my toe. My PT says it helps a lot with some of her patients and with a little more work hopefully I will be able to walk normal again! I bought the grey one so that it would not stand out like the black. Very comfortable.

Great AFO for the Price!
I have bilateral foot drop which makes walking difficult. I had hard plastic custom AFO's made through a medical provider, however, they caused so much foot pain I was unable to wear them. I purchased Ossur Foot Up AFOs in the summer of 2025 upon the recommendation of my PT provider. They were fine, but by 2026 I wanted to try another style. These AFOs were about half the price of the Ossur, so I didn't have high expectations. I have been pleasantly surprised. I've been wearing them daily for 4 months and they are holding up well. They are much easier to put on than the Ossur and provide a lot more flexibility in how high you want to raise the front of the foot up. I have been very happy with these so far and would recommend them to anybody else suffering from this condition.

Great alternative for those carbon fiber AFOs
My wife had a nerve injury from her hip replacement surgery, leaving the calf and foot numb. The hospital issued a carbon fiber Ankle Foot Orthotic (AFO) to keep her foot at a 90 degree angle. Even wearing shoes two sizes larger, the AFO barely fit the shoe and rubbed her ankle raw. Looking at Amazon, we found this wrap around AFO alternative. The cuff wraps around the ankle area, and a velcro strap loops around the shoe laces. The unit works great, as it keeps her foot at a 90 degree angle, but does allow her to push down (that nerve function wasn't damaged). This allows her to drive, with her pushing down on the gas/brake, and the AFO pulls the foot back to a 90 degree angle. This unit has allowed my wife much more mobility, and can walk with ease. I subtracted one star for the velcro assembly. It works well, but eventually wears out, sometimes coming loose while she's walking. Other than occasional slippage, the product itself is top notch, comfortable, and sturdy. NOTE: Some physicians will question this AFO. They want the carbon fiber fixed AFO, or a brace assembly (think Forrest Gump). They're unfamiliar with these types of AFOs, likely as they don't have a medical certification. We did meet with the vendor that issued the carbon fiber AFO and when they saw it, they acknowledged that functionally, it provides the same level of foot support. But your doctor may disagree. We still wear this unit, and will keep using it until the nerve damage is remedied.

Excellent brace
I've only when it since the 11th of September 2026,but it has worked seamlessly. I haven't stubbed my foot/toes on anything!I haven't even notice that it's on. I wear it against my skin,no irritation, it doesn't slip, move around, it just does it's job. I'm able to walk upstairs without worrying That my foot will catch on the stair. I wish I'd bought it earlier. I did watch a podiatrist on youtube. He explained causes for drop foot and explained which brace you should buy for your issue. He doesn't sell any of them. Love it.

Excelente
Estoy encantado. Yo tengo hemiparesia izquierda y, aunque no arrastro completamente el pie, tampoco puedo asentarlo de la forma correcta. Esta órtesis corrigió ese arrastre y ahora camino con mucho más confianza.

Tripping Help
I bought a pair as I often trip die to a neurological disease. While it feels comfortable and makes you feel secure, It helps less than I had hoped. It does help somewhat but I notice I have not put them on consistently so I am thinking I don't really feel they work. I don't mind them. I don't want to return so will co Tina to use them to give them a chance.
