Brilliant!!!
I read about the Polara balls in one of the golfing mags they hand out at courses...and I was massively sceptical, thinking it highly doubtful that they would work.I have problems with a fade on all my tee shots when using woods...it's not really a slice as such, but I always end up yards and yards from my target line.So I gave these balls a try...and, I have to say, that actually bl**dy work!I can now tee off with anything up to a driver and it goes lovely and straight.Yes, they aren't "legal" and yes perhaps my new improved tee shots aren't anything to do with me or my skill...but at my beginner level these are a welcome addition to my bag. I'll keep practicing at the range with normal balls so will get better with time, but for now seeing a tee shot go high long and straight and ending up on the fairway giving me a decent second shot is just priceless...and its rekindling my love of the game. The shot doesn't maybe fly as high as a normal ball, so perhaps not as long...but a slightly longer shot from the fairway is better than a shorter shot from the rough.I suspect they won't stop a huge slice, but if like me it's more of an unwanted fade than a full on slice...give them a try.Oh, and as for putting, I didn't really notice any difference in feel to the Srixon AD333 I usually use.

It is still possible to hook or slice them but nowhere as bad as it it with standard balls
These balls are incredible. It is still possible to hook or slice them but nowhere as bad as it it with standard balls. 90% of shots are now almost arrow straight and it really helps you trust your judgment when choosing which club to use. The only downside to owning these balls is it’s heartbreaking when you lose one either in the rough or water because they’re not cheap!

They keep the ball straight but your second shot or third is not so easy .. But did what they were meant to do ...

Sure that this says more about my game.
Unfortunately these self correcting golf balls have not helped me, sure that this says more about my game than the balls themselves!

Good but expensive
They do actually work. Good for not very good golfers. Very expensive though.

Doesn't work
Definitely doesn't stop the slice. My percentage of slice rate hasn't changed.

Lost all the balls.
Took 3 balls onto a 9 hole course and lost all 3. The first one went wildly right on the very first tee. I guess they aren't for the very very bad golfers like me. If you're looking for a magical cure for hooks and slices then don't bother buying them, get some lessons instead.

Game-Changer for My Golf Game!
I recently purchased a dozen Polara Self-Correcting Golf Balls, and I must say, they have been a total game-changer for my golf game. As an amateur golfer who loves the sport but struggles with a persistent slice, I was skeptical about these balls but decided to give them a try. The results have been nothing short of amazing.Performance:The self-correcting technology in these golf balls works wonders. I've noticed a significant reduction in my slice, and my shots are much straighter and more consistent. It feels like these balls correct themselves mid-flight, adjusting to the right trajectory. This has boosted my confidence immensely, allowing me to focus more on my swing and less on where the ball might end up.Feel and Durability:The Polara golf balls have a nice, soft feel off the clubface, which I appreciate. They provide excellent feedback, and I can feel the ball compress just right on impact. Despite their advanced technology, they don't compromise on durability. I've played several rounds with these balls, and they hold up remarkably well, with minimal signs of wear and tear.Distance:One of my concerns was whether the self-correcting technology would affect the distance. To my pleasant surprise, these balls deliver impressive distance. While they may not travel as far as some high-end, distance-focused balls, the trade-off is well worth it for the accuracy and consistency they provide. I'm still getting solid yardage, and the improved accuracy more than makes up for any slight loss in distance.Value for Money:At first glance, the price might seem a bit steep compared to standard golf balls. However, when you factor in the benefits they bring to your game, they are worth every penny. The increased accuracy and reduced frustration on the course make these balls a smart investment for any golfer looking to improve their game.Final Thoughts:Polara Self-Correcting Golf Balls have genuinely improved my golfing experience. They are a fantastic aid for anyone struggling with a slice or inconsistency in their shots. While they might not be tournament-legal, they are perfect for casual rounds and practice sessions. I highly recommend giving them a try – they might just transform your game like they did mine!Pros:- Significantly reduces slice and hooks- Consistent and straight shots- Soft feel and excellent feedback- Durable and long-lasting- Great value for moneyCons:- Slightly higher price point- Not tournament-legal (for casual play only)Overall, these balls are a must-try for any golfer looking to enhance their game and enjoy a more consistent and enjoyable experience on the course.

Worked Just as Described!
I am a mid-handicapper with a mild slice (not a banana) that on average is about 20-25 yards off center with an average tee shot total distance of about 230yds (95mph driver swing speed). My slice is consistent, but controllable for the most part. I bought the US Extra Spin and here is what I found through 27 holes with the balls...OFF THE TEE (using the directional arrows correctly)1. Out of the 27 holes, 21 shots were with a driver, of those 21 driver shots, 18 went absolutely straight with nice loft for an average of 220 yards (so I only lost about 10 yards total distance but was in the fairway with a great approach shot). The other 3 driver shots sliced off center about 20-25 yards, but still in play. On those 3 bad shots my swing felt more slicey and I knew as soon as I hit it that the ball would have ordinarily been a big slice of banana bread and been gone.2. For my non-driver tee shots it was a mix of high irons and hybrids. All of those shots went dead straight. I also found that with my higher irons (7-9) I was picking up an EXTRA 10-15 yards off the tee.FROM THE FAIRWAY/ROUGH (NOT re-aligning the ball)1. I did NOT realign the arrows for my non-tee shots, I played them as they lie. I found no difference at all from any of my other shots. Ball felt good and had a consistent flight pattern as any other ball, although, I will say that I don't typically slice other clubs so I can't say how it would correct a slice on subsequent shots if you don't re-align.CHIPPING/SPIN (NOT re-aligning the ball)1. I felt that the US Extra Spin got nice loft with all of my wedges and had nice spin.2. From greenside with a wedge, they grabbed the greens nicely, in fact they bit more than the Supersofts and Kirklands I was playing previously.PUTTING (NOT re-aligning the ball)1. Everybody has their own preference for ball feel on the green. I would say these feel more like my Kirklands than Supersofts, but they still had a nice feel when putting. No realignment was necessary, they played like regular balls.DURABILITY1. I played the same ball through about 22 holes and had no noticeable damage or change in performance. The only reason I had to grab a second ball to complete 27 holes was because I fatted one short off the fairway into a water hazard.Overall these balls have made my game MUCH more enjoyable and made me so much more confident and relaxed off the tee... so much so that I bought 2 more dozen.

Brilliant Buy
I paid R870 for a dozen, which may seem steep for golf balls, but they perform exceptionally well. Since my slice now lands on the first cut or edge of the fairway instead of the rough, I'm not losing as many balls, making them more cost-effective in the long run. I've played three rounds with the same ball, whereas I usually lose around three per round. However, they do tend to scuff more easily than the harder shell balls I typically use. The distance with my driver and fairway wood is slightly reduced (by about 10-20 metres), but the trade-off is worth it as they fly straight.
