Can inkjet photo paper be used with officejet printer?

I use it all the time, work fine for me

Can i use the "glossy photo paper" setting in the printing preferences instead of "semi-gloss"? semi-gloss setting seems to make the colors darker?

Yes, you can use either although the profile for the Premium Gloss and the Premium Luster paper tends to be very similar.

Is this double sides printing paper?

This paper is not double sided. You cannot print on the back and can only write with dry inks on the back.
