Fresh and absolutely delicious!
Delicious, fresh and packed with omegas. Each half is full of quality walnutty deliciousness and mine have absolutely no indications of appearing less than fresh. They are certified gluten free, which is a must for me since I’m Celiac. Also they’re a great price for 2.2 lbs. I eat these every day so this was a fabulous find delivered right to my door! Will definitely keep ordering.

Freshly picked taste??
These walnuts are a little different than others I've had. They are softer and are more easily chewed. I'm not sure if this means they are fresher than most brands--these are grown locally, so it seems quite possible--or if it is a characteristic of this variety. They are quite good, and the price was extremely reasonable. I plan on purchasing them again. Love walnuts! Especially when the shell has already been removed. Delicious by the handful, toss on a salad, or baking banana bread. Delicious and nutritious.

YUPIK RAW WALNUTS ARE WHOLESOME, BIG, PIECES. NEVER HAD A STALE PIECE YET. GREAT FOR YOUR BRAIN, HAVE TONS OF OMEGAS IN THEM. I LIKE TO JUST PAIR THEM WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS FOR A DELICIOUS SNACK. OR BAKE BANANA BREAD NUT MUFFINS. TEXURE IS A CRUNCHY, CRISP OUTER SKIN TO A SOFTLY DENSE MORSAL. DELICIOUS! 50/50 it's a crap shoot.
First bag was great fresh and delish. 2nd bag is more then half those blackened crispy tast awful walnuts. I have to put a large stack out then sort threw them. The piles of blackened and good are about equal. I toss the crisp black ones as the taste is awful.
