SERIOUSLY addictive buttered-toast sprinkle.
A Dutch friend addicted me to this stuff 40 years ago, and I've been searching for it since. The name translates to "stomped mouse balls" but ignore that and get the toaster going. Douse the toast in butter, sprinkle this sweet aniseed powder over it, and tell me that's not heaven (if perhaps a little too sweet).
