I would give this product 10 stars I could! First off, I am an adult who uses this because of very fair complextion with very senstive skin. I have used this product on two vacations, at Disney in July, and at Dollywood in July. What I love about it that is it is easy to apply and it doesn't sweat off your face for the most part. I find it easy to be able to tell where I have put the sunscreen so I don't miss areas. Also, it has zinc oxide in it so when I get slight sunburn (even with sunscreen) applying this the next day prevents further sunburn and helps heal any leftover sunburn. I would recommend this for kids, but I haven't used it as such. It also makes my husband more likely to use it (although that that is a challenge) because of the ease of use. Due to my work schedule, I take a vacation in the hottest part of the summer and this product is great for keeping me pretected.

This is my #1 go-to sunscreen. I swim for an hour in the mornings least 5 days a week. Wearing sunscreen is an absolute must for me. The sheer zinc oxide provides great protection and does not irriate sensitive skin. It does go on white but fades to clear quickly. You don’t need to slather on a whole lot to get great protection. A little bit truly goes a long way! I use the lotion before I leave home, and the solid stick version of the same product dor touch-up (if needed) at the pool. This sheer zinc oxide suncreen is great!!

2021 update: My family has been using this formulation for many years now. I chose it for the high (>20%) mineral content of zinc oxide, because that is the substance responsible for the sunscreen effect of this product. Unfortunately that is also the substance responsible for the white cast on the skin. Other brands typically have mineral content in amounts around 8-12% of the product. So although you may not get as white of a cast with those brands, you are also not getting as much of the sunscreen ingredient either. Another way manufacturers combat the white cast problem is to grind the minerals into ultra-fine particles: nanoparticles. There are downsides to this however: loss of UVA blockage, potential lung damage from inhalation of both manufacturing workers and users, possible coral reef and aquatic life disturbance. So, I expect and accept a mild white cast when using this because it is related to its effectiveness and probable lack of nanotization. When I care about the white cast, I use a drop or two of foundation with it. Otherwise, I leave it alone because after rubbing gently in, it’s not very noticeable. No problems with stickiness or tackiness a minute or so after applying and I’ve never had it sting my or my kids eyes probably because it stays put unlike many liquid formulas. I can also attest to its effectiveness as a sunscreen. We use it in the summertime by the beach and at the lake. In the winter and spring time we use it at 10,000 feet elevation while skiing. If we are going to be outdoors in the sun for any significant period of time, we use it then too. Does the job every time. We are diligent about reapplying after swimming or sweating. Now go have fun in the sun...after putting on your sunscreen. ----------------------------------------------- Original post: My kid's skin is sensitive to chemical sunscreens so I get only ones made with mineral sunscreens. Sticks are much easier to apply on the face; less mess and hassle. The price of this large stick was off putting at first, but I got it because of the value in price per product; see pics. Very happily, I find it easier to apply than the smaller sticks. Takes less time to swipe on the face and anyone who has ever tried applying sun screen on the face of a child knows, less time to apply is a huge bonus!!! Same effectiveness in preventing sun burns as the smaller versions. I'm buying another one now.

This mineral sunscreen offers amazing UV protection and is very gentle on sensitive skin. Since it is formulated with 100% zinc oxide, it gives me peace of mind using it on my kids without worrying about harsh chemicals or eye irritation. It is highly water-resistant and stays on well during outdoor activities. The only downside is that it is quite thick and leaves a noticeable white cast that requires a bit of effort to rub in completely.

Like all Neutrogena products, it works so well. I use it on all of my water loving grandchildren and NO sunburn worries.

LOVE it. Super easy to use. Great for skin. I use as an adult because it’s one of the one sunscreens my aesthetician says is okay for acne breakouts and sensitive skin. Easy to put in bag and go and reapply. Easy to rub in (minimal white cast) and feels smooth on skin (not oily). Also no cancer-causing chemicals.

Goes on smooth and is easy for kids to use.

Got this to try for my kid who has been using banana boat product for a long time and overall have a mixed comments on this product. My 2 cents below: Pros: - Has a high SPF and hence is great for outdoors - The effects last long hours - Reasonably priced Cons: - Whitens more than other sunscreens we have tried - Not the most easy to spread on skin and it takes time

Excelente me fui al mar 3 días expuesta al sol y solo me queme un poquito y me expuse 2 horas seguidas. De que dice kids pero yo lo ocupe en mi jeje. Si es de los que te dejan blanco y es un poco pesado pero resiste el mar y bastante tiempo de verdad UNA MARAVILLA

I love it! It is slightly light in colour but spreads very easily and invisibly covers up even small blemishes. On and around your lips, it gives some extra volume to your mouth. Around your eyes, it makes them look a little brighter. It has zinc as a natural sunscreen, no perfume or taste so that's wonderful for the skin. I do put a layer of bio-cream underneath as I get dry skin easily. It stays on well even when you swim. And last but not least: because of it's size, it fits in any bag. You understand I use it for myself and I can't live without it :) !
