I was so surprised by the quality and craftsmanship! The bag is slightly padded to give some protection. I love the little front pocket to hold smaller things. The side straps on the backpack meant for holding tripods were making me nervous that it would fall out, plus carrying it off-center. This little tripod bag is great! Sturdily made with just enough padding to keep my tripod safe but not so much that it is bulky. Velcro handles slip through the bottom strap of my backpack and it is on there really securely. Tripod fits in it perfectly and the zipper is extra wide so I can retrieve it quickly in case of wildlife shots on the go. Bears and deer seldom stand there and wait for me to get my gear untangled, which is very rude.
