Grandson (toddler) loves
I bought this to have for my grandson to come Play with at our house. It is so cute, compact and toddler friendly. Exactly as presented. Highly recommend. I can see him playing with this for a long time.

Fun Toy, But Not Much of a Puzzle
My toddler does enjoy playing with this barn, but I was disappointed with the puzzle aspect of it. He figured out within about five seconds that he could simply turn all of the wooden animal pieces sideways and fit them through the same opening. That completely defeated the purpose of matching each animal to its correct shape. The barn itself is well made, and the wooden pieces are sturdy enough for little hands. He enjoys taking the animals in and out and playing with them during pretend play, so it still gets used regularly. I just wish the puzzle had been designed in a way that actually encouraged shape matching and problem-solving. As it is, it's more of a portable barn with wooden animal figures than a true puzzle. Overall, it's a decent toy for imaginative play, but I wouldn't buy it expecting much educational value as a shape-sorting puzzle.

I purchased this wonderful Toy Barn for a Boy Baby Shower Gift ! Melissa & Doug are renowned for their attention to toy safety, cuteness and age appropriate imaginative play. Once this little boy grows a bit, his Mommy will have just the right toy to easily entertain him as well as teach him about some basic Farm Animals and, all the while, he'll be safe from poisonous paints that other toys might have.

Fun for the one year old and made well. Love Melissa & Doug toys but I was worried about the quality if I ordered from Amazon. It was packaged perfectly and it will last a long time for sure!

I love this toy! Absolutely adorable. Unfortunately my son took notice the top opening flaps immediately and never plays with it the “correct way”. He just puts the pieces in and out from the top instead of matching them to the cut outs. He still gets a kick out of it so that’s all that matters
