Q: Is the tread 3/4” npt?

I only had a 9'16" drill and had to just file the hole open a bit more to get them to fit through. No where near 3/4" though.

Q: Will this product fit the 7 gallon aqua-tainer I have?

By "fit" I am wondering if you mean a direct replacement for the cap? Then no. WHat I did and I assume you could do to is to drill a hole in the existing cap and the mount the spigot. Those bottles have a nice air release cap that might help make these things flow better. Maybe, they are incredibly slow so not even close to what you would expect from say something like a water cooler. This is like trying to get water out of a fridge with a clogged filter slow.

I cannot answer the question. I am using a regular water jug that needed a new dispenser and it works perfectly!
