John Masters Organics Sea Mist Spray

The absolute best salt spray. Smells like nature - because it’s completely natural! And my waves become perfect beach curls when I apply and lightly scrunch to towel-dried hair. I have sensitive skin and this has never irritated my neck or fave (which other products have). I get tons of compliments on the scent and look of my 5-minute hair. I always take it to the beach or pool for a post-swim touch up too! Had to review after being a loyal consumer for 8 years.

A few sprays on your hair and you truly turn into a beachy mermaid! Adds so much volume and wave. It’s perfect EXCEPT, I can’t stand the stickiness of it. Every time I touch my hair, I am left with a film on my hands. I’m not sure if this is true for all sea salt sprays but I think the stickiness might not be worth the look.

Great lavender scent, good hold and texture without being too crunchy. Most importantly non toxic ingredients, highly recommend.

Left hair oily instead of dry, like a sea spray should.I ordered this before realizing I could make my own for pennies. Tried to cancel the order (before it shipped), but Amazon didn't allow the cancellation. Tried to return it, but Amazon didn't allow the return. Figured I'd try it since I was stuck with it. Bad idea - made hair oily/greasy. Very disappointed because it had favorable reviews on a few different websites.

I have been buying this sea salt spray for years - at least 10 or more. I kept buying it because it was great, you could feel the salt and I loved the way the it made my hair feel like I'd spent a day at the beach, full of volume and amplified curls. I've never used another sea salt spray that added so much texture to my fine wavy hair! I ordered it this time fully expecting to receive the same product. First off, the bottle is now less than HALF the size it was formerly - 4.2 ounces vs. 9 ounces - for more money. As if that wasn't bad enough, the formula is completely different - I came to these reviews to see if I just had a bad bottle but I found other's with the same complaint: it is now oily, weighs down my hair instead of giving it the light, salty fullness of the previous version. I'm super disappointed, can no longer recommend this product and sadly, won't be buying again.

Smells great

Lovely scent! The only product I use on my naturally curly hair. It’s light and not sticky at all. Adds just the right amount of texture control.

This product left my hair oily and limp.
