After looking around online, I found I couldn't find the same one I had previously, so I finally just bought this one instead. The photos look nice, but seeing it in real life, I was surprised how big it is. This is not a problem for me at all as I drink a LOT of coffee, but be aware this is not a regular coffee mug size! This is easily twice as large as normal "big" coffee cups. But the color change effect is really neat! The art is beautifully made and it really comes to life when there's hot coffee pouring into it. Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Big enough, but doesn't change color *by E***L on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2022* Bought this for my fiancé because he wanted bigger coffee mugs and I thought this one was cool because he likes sugar skulls. Unfortunately I think the one I received might be defective because it doesn't change colors when hot liquids are poured into it.Otherwise it's cute and he definitely likes the size. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute for hot chocolate. *by K***H on Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2021* I bought this for my husband since he is a hot chocolate freak even in the summer. Every night before he goes to bed. It changed things up a bit to watch the mug slowly change to colors. The only downside is it can't go in the dishwasher and the liquid has to be really, really hot to get the color effect. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/168125772-bigmouth-inc-sugar-skull-heat-color-changing-coffee-mug-large](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/168125772-bigmouth-inc-sugar-skull-heat-color-changing-coffee-mug-large) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
