Nikon 10x42 ProStaff 3S Binoculars (Black) Lenspen Cleaning System

I got into birding after I bought a cheap pair of 12x25 over a year ago. The cheap pair gave out, so I decided it was time to upgrade to something that was higher quality but still an affordable price. When I tested the Nikon 3S out yesterday, I could not believe how clear they were compared to my old off-brand binoculars. I could see details I had never seen before, I feel like I can finally SEE things clearly and I can't believe I went so long birding without investing in a good pair of binoculars. Specifically, even though the magnification is less than my old pair, they actually zoom in better. I can also see more details on the object I'm looking at, including more vivid colors and the ability to see things even in the shade. I am so excited to continue using these in my everyday birding around the neighborhood and for my upcoming trip to Costa Rica. Highly recommend!!!

Didn’t expect them to be so good. Had to buy this because the pro staff 7 isn’t available anymore. Considering it is half price than what pro staff 7 costed when available (my boyfriend bought them 2 months ago) decided to give it a go.THEY ARE AWESOME and made my bf jealous because were cheaper, lighter, smaller, has 1 degree angle more, came with a pencil cleaner, and the visibility is just as good. Don’t know if there will be any offs in the future but for now: I am in love and happy with them!

okay, so you can buy more expensive, more high powered, more raz-mataz. But for the money and how well these binoculars work, they are awesome. We used them on a fishing/nature trip and came home, ordered a pair for ourselves and gave 4 pair for Christmas presents this year. Needless to say, our gift was very popular!Great all the wat around.

Nikon Prostaff 3S binoculars are a pretty good product for the price (around $130 when I bought them). The only quibble I have with them is chromatic aberration on closer objects in bright light. Objects have an outline of bright color. I must say that when I mentioned this to a friend who was using them she said that had I not mentioned it she never would have noticed, but that yes, it was not my imagination. I live on the ocean and mainly use them to see whales, dolphins, and passing ships, and do not have the problem with objects at that greater distance. But a passing hottie on the beach gets a little glow. I’ve decided that it’s not so bad that I’m going to return them. Just sayin’.

I was so surprised so see such a clear and colorful view. I dont see color aberation. It was clear as crystal end to end. I didnt compare the $1000+ Zeiss and Leicas, but after looking through this lens, I cannot see how much better it could be. This is an awesome pair. I am using it for hiking.

I have odd eyes.. each farsighted with different prescriptions, and misaligned pupils. These focus easily either with glasses or without. And the magnification is great for bird and animal watching from the house.So pleased with this purchase!

I love these. Bought them for my traveling. Very well made. Highly accurate and crystal clear. Comfortable. Well-made casing on the binos. Sturdy but not clunky.Not really big but does fit into a larger purse so not really on the pocket-sized side.Absolutely Nikon high quality. Liked the whole pkg that came with it.

Best binoculars I have ever used. They were recommended to me by a man in South Fork Colorado. He told me that they were just what I was looking for, and they are. I can look closely at birds that are nearby and I was able to see the Neowise comet better than my friends who had telescopes. I am beyond pleased.
