I give these stands 5 stars for how I’m using them, but I’m very careful with them. I live alone, so there’s not much chance for an accident. I learned from experience that I f you don’t put the guitar in exactly right, the guitar will fall out. I caught mine before it hit the ground. Ever since I’ve paid more attention to placing it in the stand. And then I double check the stand is wide open and everything it sitting correctly. If the guitar is bumped, it would probably fall out, too. Hence I had to knock off a star. I bought these for the price, and they’re worth it. Very portable, too. If I could spend more money, I would have gone with a better solution. But you can’t beat these for $25 bucks (or whatever I paid for them).

Product is pretty good quality and bottom line it Works

It is portable and easy to unfold and fold, not sturdy and a little bit flimsy. For acoustic or classical guitar, it is o.k., but definitely not for electric guitar.

It’s compact, light and does it’s job. You’re not buying for sturdiness. Would recommend for practicing with an acoustic guitar. Gets the job done.

I bought these stands because 1. they were a fantastic deal and 2. they were all plastic. Their purpose will be to sit outside on my front and back porches, in the weather, where I can use them to sit my guitar down. I'm usually trying to perch the guitar on the back or side of a chair, railing etc. Having these stands is much safer and they don't take up a whole chair!

I brought there after a house move as I hadn’t got the same wall space to hang my guitars. They are light, hold the guitar well and I don’t believe will fracture but I think I prefer the metal style as they feel a bit more robust.

Clever design, but completely made of plastic and fairly flimsy. Wouldn’t use on stage and wouldn’t put valuable instruments on it.But space efficient and very cheap

These stands fit easily into a messenger bag. They are stable enough for a dreadnought acoustic. May not be ideal for constant use, perfect if you're on the move.

Great, light weight, works for both my husband's guitar and bass.
