Upon receiving this I made the mistake of lifting the flap on the clear envelope it was in and putting my nose at the opening to check it out since I'd heard about the smell. Consequently I got a pretty stiff whiff. The odor was very strong, but smelled like a skunk, an odor I don't mind at all. I took it out of the cellophane envelope and put it all outside to air out. Within a few minutes I developed a headache and felt very woozy, with slight nausea. I thought it was a coincidence. 45 minutes later I felt ok, so thought nothing more of it. It's been out there over a week, so I checked it again today and although the smell may not be as strong, one whiff from a 1.5 feet away and that same headache and wooziness came back, just not as bad. That did it. Besides the delay in waiting for this thing to gas off, it's not worth my health, as i apparently have some problem with whatever this smell comes from. Now that I've researched this and see how common it is, I'm shocked Olfa hasn't done something about it. Recommending repeated baths in lemon dishwashing liquid or vinegar or what have you is ridiculous. What is it leaving on your quilt material that someone may eventually nuzzle into to go to sleep? Scary!

Love how this product came as a set. Cheaper and worth it, in my opinion. The mat is something magical. It really does heal. As you can see in my second picture, the vinyl fabric I cut is not too thick but it helps that I have this mat and it does not leave any marks. I cut vinyl every often and it works like magic. I would recommend this product to every crafter. Even if you're not a crafter, should you need to get one, get this set!! Extremely happy with this purchase!

Bruh! Sewing time has been significantly reduced with this tool. I often use pdf patterns which requires a lot of cutting. This adds speed and precision and ease cutting patterns and fabric so that I am set up for success when I'm ready to sit down to sew.

Bought this to make masks. It's been great. Sometimes hard to keep the rotary cutter against the rules, but I am sure it is user error.

So easy to use and makes a great cut!

It took three weeks to get to me, but other than that I love it.
