Cuts and crimps easily
I had to watch a video to learn how to organize the wires to push the wires through the RJ45 connector without having the wires swap positions.

I think it's kind of great - I'd buy it again.
Just got it, so who knows if it lasts or whatever. But after reading some of the negative reviews, I had some doubts. Not sure what to say, I've only used it a couple times - but so far, i have to say I think mine is awesome; and seems pretty premium to me. I think it's a quality nice heavy tool with good blades. It crimps well. The pull-through design head is a total Godsend. I have an earlier style that isn't pull-through, and this way better. This tool seems pretty well thought out to me, feature rich, and well made. I wish they gave me more heads; I don't image the little plastic heads are really all that expensive; so I'll have to buy more at some point - which is too bad. But otherwise, I think this is worth way more than I actually paid for it, and am very happy with this tool.

May need blade adjustments before use.
I've seen reviews complaining about the cutting blades, my tool arrived with the blades out of adjustment. The sheath cutting blades were too tight, after adjustment they cut very well. The cutoff blade used when crimping was also poorly adjusted and would have cracked if used as it was.As for blade quality, the tool cost under $20 what did you expect. I feel after proper setup this tool is a good deal.UPDATE: upon further inspection I noticed the spare blades were missing so I contacted the vendor via the contact email and the response was FANTASTIC! The problem was handled immediately and very much to my satisfaction. I can't thank them enough.

It works alright. Definitely not for a pro though.
I got this to shorten the cable run I did to my room. It works just fine.My main gripe, is that the blade that cuts the wires when you're crimping, isn't seated down far enough.I have to squeeze hard, so it cuts fully. Otherwise one or two of the wires will still be hanging on.I was crimping solid-core cables, so that might have something to do with it, but I kinda doubt it.Besides that, I think it's perfectly fine for someone who just needs to make a few runs.

Not exactly perfect, but not exactly bad
First, let me start by saying why I provided 3 stars. The tool itself if pretty normal. It came with an additional 3 cut blades which was really nice. I have actually never needed to change the blades on these. Oh, why 3 stars. Again, the tool is fine, the ends and caps however are horrible. I have been making cables for over 15 years and never had such a difficult time getting full connectivity on a CAT-5e cable. I burned through all 25 ends and only successfully made one functioning cable. Went to my local big box store and purchased ends and everything was normal, I could make cables just fine.I would buy the kit again as the cost was exceptional for the tool itself.

Works great
CAT6 wires are notorious for being hard to get in the connectors. The pass through connectors make this task easier. I don't know about you but, trying to keep the wire colors in the correct order is one of my biggest frustrations. The pass through style connectors allows me to put one wire at a time into the connector and keep the order correct. That being said this crimper cuts the wires off flush with the end of the connector and does a very nice job of it. It came with replacement blades and a handful of both CAT5 AND CAT6 connectors. It works well and does as good of a job as other crimpers costing much more.

Solid connections
I'm left handed. This like most hand tools are designed for right handed folks. So that's why I gave it a 4 for ergonomics. Was just making up a few jumpers with cat56 and EZ CAT6 connectors. All tested good. Looked over the crimps close. All the crimps on the pins are even. The cutters cut clean. Do not see any difference between this crimper and units costing +100 bucks.

works good
Got it in two days. Repairing and making perfect length cables is a lot cheaper than buying them. Only downfall is it could come with some instructions. I know how to use it, but others may not. Also it would be nice if it came with standard wiring pin out diagram. I had to google this because i couldn't remember the pin out. But the tool works good, and the connectors that come with it appear to be good quality.
