Kaytee Food from the Wild Chinchilla (Chinchilla Food), 3 Pounds

I got this for my box turtle to try, he wasn't a fan. I ended up feeding birds with it. They seemed to like it. The ingredients seem good though, so if you have the appropriate pet, give it a shot.

The only food I buy for my chinchillas. I’ve purchased it nearly 30 times, and I’m sure I’ll purchase it about 100 more over their lifetimes. I’ve never had a single issue with this food. The sweet potato pieces are their favorite.

I have two chins that look forward to treats everyday. I decided to try this food because I figured I could save a little money by combining the treats with the pellets. I will say, the size of this bag was decent. My chins really enjoyed the treats that they could dig through the pellets and find. Just wish there was more treats in the food. They were kinda far and few between, so I ultimately ended up having to buy my usual chin cocktail to give them a little with their food so they would both have enough to snack on. But nonetheless its a great idea.

Great Quality

This is the first brand of chinchilla food that I bought for my furry friend, and refuse to buy any other! It has a perfect blend of treats, and nutritious pellets. Especially since in the wild they would eat much more of their favorite foods loke rosehips and sweet potatoes than they should, it's nice to know he gets the mixture he would in the wild! (Just more safely dispensed) He definitely picks at all the goodies first (I mix the bag up so every 2Tablespoons of a meal has a nice treat or 3 in it, but more pellets then treats.) He will eventually throughout the day eat every drop of pellet that is left though! He loves the food I can tell, and will never change it as I truly feel he is getting some of the nutritional substances he would if he were a wild one!
