I wish I could put zero Stars. Every picture and every description in this listing shows a hardback 80-page. I received a little soft back 32-page book that's not worth $2. Definitely going to be returning this and blacklisting this deceptive seller

These books have less than half the pages I expected them to have. Which is partly my fault for not checking the page count. BUT the description says CASE BOUND. They are most certainly NOT CASE BOUND. I won't be ordering these again.

*****I really like this version of the Elan Surveying book. I have the spiral bound as well, and much prefer this. It lays flat nicely and makes turning the pages easy (unlike the spiral bound version). It is small enough to carry easily and has enough columns for almost any application.Highly recommended.*****

I wrote for 3 and a half years in these Elan books, also watercolored, and the paper held up through all my traveling chaos.I filled 7 books with writing.When i was done I took all seven books and hid them in the city.I love writing in these books.They stopped selling them in the city-- You have to get them on Amazon.

Works for my surveying class, unfortunately there’s a cheaper version on campus that’s a lot sturdier

Ordered the stiff cover because the softcover sucks at work, it's too flimsy to hold in your hand and write on. So what do I end up with? yup, the softcover. fill your orders correctly, it's not that hard.

this product is necessary for my line of work, however, it is way too expensive to break and tear apart like they do. I had this experience with this same book numerous time. Not worth the money for a book that will tear in a few days

As a field geologist, I work in extreme environments and go through field notebooks like you wouldn't believe. Works with gel pens. Works terribly with roller ball and pencil. Too waxy. Not as good as rite in rain but gets the job done for a fraction of the cost.

Ok
