If I could give these pellets more stars I would. I have some very picky parakeets who are both around 7 years old. After a recent bought of constipation, I decided they had no choice anymore, that they had to eat something else besides seeds. Every previous attempt at changing their diet failed. They would either start fighting each other competing for any seed I'd give or they would just outright stop eating and I thought they would die of starvation. With these pellets, I didn't have too much hope seeing my previous track record, but somehow they ended up trying these pellets and now I'm seeing empty dishes! They like them! They are of a very good size for parakeets and look like their other seeds. They have a good healthy smell too, and they appear of good quality. I am very glad I found these pellets, thank you!

At first, I thought it was hard for them to chew it but then they actually ate then.

I have 2 parakeets which I switched to this brand. It took them some time for them to adjust but it was worth the effort. Not only is this a healthier food but the switch was well worth it. There is no messy hulls to clean up. The bird area stays so much cleaner and that means less work for me

These are the perfect pellets for my budgies. They won't touch any of the other brands I've tried. They still prefer seeds, but I'd rather they eat a few of these than all seeds.

Since Mazuri turtle pellets are the only brand my picky guy will eat, I thought I would give Mazuri bird pellets a try for my Bourke parakeets. I did ask a knowlegiable bird breeder about them first and he gave his yes to them. The birds took to them right away! The mini's are great size for smaller birds.

As described, quick delivery. Cannot say that the birds are for or against it. I mix it with other pellets and seeds. They nibble at it all. If they had their way they would only eat thistle seed.

Our picky birds love this. It helped bring our birds down to a healthy weight.

I am trying to get my budgies off seeds but it is a trying situation. I thought my youngest was eating it which made me very happy until I saw it on the floor. The next day she dumped the seed cup on the floor of her cage. I have tried it in my other cage where there are 4 budgies. Someone is eating it. They did not throw it out of the cup. I'm very persistent, so it will take some time but I'm sure they will all come around.
