runs pretty good, plugs looked good
I have a pull start manual trim motor, 20hp model.positives besides price:I have about 7 hours on it in 2 runs, changed the oil after each...comes with 1 spare oil filter. Starts 1-3 pulls once you get fuel to it, runs pretty good, plugs looked good. I have it on a 12.5' inflatable. Stock prop I think is an 11 pitch but is not marked, it runs right at 5950-6000 rpm per my cheap tack at WOT with a 700 pound total load. Prop on mine is a 8 spline thru hub, and I just mounted a 12 pitch solas on it p/n 3111-093-12, untested except in a trash can. I also acquired a solas 3111-093-10 but have not tried it. Oil filter that seems to fit is a fram 6607. Don't know on fuel filter. If anybody knows post a p/n. Its also pretty quiet, I was pleasantly surprised at the low noise level. Fuel tank/line it comes with works well. If I can get 5700-5800 rpm at WOT on a 12 pitch prop with 700-800 pounds I'll be pretty happy...it seems to make pretty good power generally.negs:Gave it 4 stars because there's very little support for this motor (in the USA) and parts might be iffy to get if it breaks. Its a bit tough to figure out oil filters and whatnot. At WOT its a bit rough...at 3500-5500ish cruising on the plane its pretty smooth. The tilt system is a beast to adjust and you really have only 2 working holes to use, there's a blank space to get to the other 2. A few more positions would make sense. It will hesitate if you jam on the juice to WOT from idle to plane...you have to roll it on. Could stand a richer needle I think. It seems to be heavier than listed...but I am getting older.

Great and a great price
Great and a great price. I had a 2 stroke older mercury and replaced it with this parsun. The parsun is very quiet by comparison. The only short coming that I have noticed is it is a little slower getting up and on the water. This I expected. No difference on the top end. I would not trade the noise for the acceleration.
