Our son is in boy scouts and they require having a "Mess Kit," this Bisgear set was the PERFECT brand and item for the three of us for the outings with Boy Scouts. We are very excited about camping and taking this set on picnics. The Stainless Steel is very sturdy, and the sizes are perfect. This particular set was for three people, and came with a cup, bowl and plate as well as spoon, fork, and knifes. There was also chopsticks and a few other utensils. The bag for the items is very sturdy and very well constructed to "be used" outdoors. We have used the set already once and washed up great, packs up perfect and takes up small space in our equipment. Highly recommend this product and will buy more products from Bisgear!

I was looking for a mess kit for my 72-hour bag. I found this one and gave it a try it is one of my best purchases I received the kit and found that the full service of 3 is lightweight and not too large in my pack. the metal is super easy to clean and I was even able to boil water in the cup by setting it on a flat rock shelf that I was causing for my cooking surface. great kit.

To start off ill explain the negatives of this product, it losses its nonstick coating if used in a campfire and the metal becomes charred. Does rust easy after the nonstick has been burned off. I also thought the plastic handles were more of a silicone but they are not. Positives, its small and simple set up, great for 2 person meals, easy to wash and is very light weight. Would recommend using on and gas cooker rather then a fireplace. Love the shine of the plates and silverware, very heavy duty. Great idea for a product just needs a few tweaks.

Comes with enough cooking ware and plates to get a good dinner put together. Took it camping last weekend and got to try it out. Worked well, easy to clean and fit in my ruck nicely.

So for the price I paid and for what you get, it's quite a deal. But I doubt this set would last a long time. Just some light use with the family and it's ok. Given the lighting deal price, it was worth it. Probably wouldn't pay full price as the quality is a bit lacking.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who is an experienced camper. She was surprised at the number of items that she received, and for such a good value. She has already taken the set camping, and said that they cleaned up easily.

This is a nice two person set for camping...Stainless steel and aluminum that is FDA food grade quality so you don't have to worry about weird stuff breaking off your pots and pans and into your food. collapsible handles on cooking pans. Lots of utensils inside and the best part is it all nestles together like russian nesting dolls and fits into a mesh bag with a draw tight fastener so that it stays tight in your pack. Lots of value all in one compact kit! With included carabiner clip you could also clip it to the outside of your pack if space inside is limited.

They seem great quality except for the peeling coat of some kind of sealant on the bottom? They aren't peeling inside,, and I haven't used them yet,, I plan to this summer and I'll update my review then,, but right now,, I think they either need to package these things better,, or move to a higher quality seal coat.
