My Fairy Bridesmaid Castle Paperback – Illustrated, 7 Sept. 2007

These 'books' (There's not actually a written story in them) are beautiful. Immense detail in the pop ups, and they contain cardboard figures, so little ones can create their own stories. Perfect for travelling as although the books are a reasonably large size, they are easy to transport without having to worry about losing any parts as everything folds up beautifully. I wouldn't recommend for under 4s but my daughter loves these at 8, having her first one aged around 3 (which obviously got a bit broken, hence the 4 and up suggestion!)

good for presents, lots of small paper bits you can detached from the book, but no where to store them if you want to take the book out, so not suggest to read it in the car!

A work of art... I just thought it was a book till I realised you fold the book right back and tie it together to create an actual castle. My daughter plays with it for hours. The detail is insane... pies cooking in ovens. Even behind the scenes has been covered with gorgeous illustration so there is so much to explore. My daughter uses her disney princess figures which are just the right size to go up and down the stairs, sleep in the beds and go through the doors. She is only 2 and a quarter, but so far she is taking great care of it. She said this morning it is her favourite toy. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

My 5 year old got this book as a present. She loves it - there is so much to see and play with, and she enjoys the story too.We love it so much, we're buying it for my daughters friends.

My granddaughter and I received this book yesteday as an addition to the other four books by Maggie Bateson and Louise Comfort that we have in our collection. This book has one less "room" than the others, and they don't interconnect through doorways as the others do, but it is still a work of art and much to look at and fun to play with. There are a few less fairies for play and my copy of the book didn't fold out as neatly and easily as the other books did. I imagine with use it will get better. My granddaughter is only 3, but plays well with these lovely works of art with supervision. Since this copy of the book mainly deals with an upcoming wedding there is a little less to play with and not as many secret doors to open. It does have a lovely display of fireworks and things to pull up. These books are very durable when treated with care and have provided her with countless hours of fun. I enjoy looking at them as simply magnificent works of art.

2歳の娘が目を輝かせて遊んでいました。色使いもピンク基調？の女の子らしい色合いで紙人形もたくさんついているので、楽しそうです。これよりも以前に作られた同シリーズのものも持っていますが、娘はこちらのほうが断然好きみたいです。お城の部屋の中が見れるのですが、細かい作りになっていて、小さな仕掛け？（といっても窓を開けると誰かがいる、とか）のようなものが多くなっています。ドアや階段、こまごました部屋の内部が再現されていてとにかく、女の子が喜びそうな楽しい世界が広がっています。もちろん、大人も楽しめます。順番にそろえていきたい、、と親が思ってしまうくらいです。

This book is so enchanting! My little girl just loves this and will pretend play for hours. Child must be old enough to respect the fact that the paper will tear. Love the simplicity of keeping the 3 dimensional book open. I have purchased most of these through amazon and will try to keep them for the next child.

このシリーズの違うものを持っていて、娘の友達がくると良く遊んでいました。そのお友達が、引っ越すことになり、こちらの本をプレゼントしました。とても喜んでくれました。娘も、「キラキラがいっぱいあってかわいくなってる」と言ってました。どんどん可愛くなってるみたいです。

My kids have several different this kind of book . Its just amazing ! Girls can play hours . I made a video , so you could see how exactly book looks . I bought " used -good" condition and I would say book is a great condition .
