Product was broken, I like the concept but the Customer Service is more talk than action
Honestly I love the concept of this and was very excited when it arrived. I took it out of the box and with my allergies I was looking to put in some essential oil to open up the old sinuses in the shower. Easy to put together...but the thing was there was a little piece of plastic inside of the casing. I didn't know what it was so I put it to the side, filled the inner circle with product and figured out how to swap out the mist vs. stream. Great idea! The only thing was the mist side...wasn't very misty....it was kind of shooting all over the place and it didn't seem right. So after my shower I unscrewed the canister again and figured out the problem...the little piece that was broken off inside is one of the parts that needs to catch to lock that top in place. Normally something I could fix but in this case because it involved water pressure, nothing is going to bond that back on and hold. And that explains why I had less mist and more squirting of water, it was coming out of that area where the piece was broken off. I love the concept...I think it would work great...if mine wasn't broken.I've attached a photo of the piece so you can see what I'm talking about. I don't think its a design flaw...just something that broke either when it was screwed on at the factory, or during shipping. Not sure. The only problem was Customer service from the company contacted me twice asking how I liked the product. I twice told them the above and all the CSR said was, "Thanks for the feedback, that will help us." I would have liked something like...."Do you want to exchange your broken one for one that works?" But that option was not given to me so I'm stuck with the side that works...but you can't use the essential oil or soap feature so its just a regular old shower head. I'm disappointed more by the customer service than by the product being broken actually.

You get what you pay for
I received my new SharkSpa shower head, and was very excited to try it.It was a little difficult to figure out how to open the aroma therapy reservoir because the website link provided (on the box) for the user manual was defective. After looking at the pictures on Amazon, I was able to figure it out though.I have used the shower head for weeks now, and I like the rain/normal setting. I have used the mist setting successfully twice with essential oils. However, when I last used the mist setting, the plastic seal around the nozzle popped out, and I noticed that the plastic around the aroma therapy reservoir was cracking.I am very disappointed that the materials used in this product are breaking down after such limited use. I am glad that I did not throw out my old shower head because my suspicion is that I will have to replace the SharkSpa soon.Now I see from the other product reviews and my own experience, it seems that I would have been better off with a different product.I do have to add that, while the product may be less than perfect, the efforts of the customer service rep at SharkSPA are commendable. They emailed me after delivery to make sure I received the product, and since have communicated regularly with me to make sure I was satisfied and that my issue was resolved. That is not often the case, so I must say that I am pleased with their service.
