Very well constructed
Much nicer than the crap I have bought that aas made in China. We might not produce as much these days in the US. But what I’ve bought that was made here is well worth the money.USA!!

The best winch
It costs me three times as much to cheap out with the Chinese knockoffs. Got this winch and the quality is great. Works well and it much stronger than anything else

Definitely heavy duty for pontoon boat trailer
Being a novice boat trailer owner I first bought a light duty winch. That was way too small. So before I even attempted to replace the original winch, I shipped it back and ordered this heavy duty winch. It is slightly wider than my trailer’s tongue but fit nicely nevertheless. I only used two bolts instead of three, positioning them in tandem. The base of this winch is heavy thick coated steel. It should last my lifetime.

Easily twice as heavy as the foreign competition.
The teeth on the gears are 3 times wider than others with the same weight rating. That means more surface area to spread the load. I have a smaller D-L winch on a different trailer and it has been a joy to use.It does not come with mounting bolts or strap bolt. Doesn't claim to either so plan ahead. From what another view said, the strap bolt is 3/8" x 3 1/4" . I'll update if this is not correct.

Easy to install on boat trailer. Nice quality and gets the boat out of the water with ease. Thank you!

Strong and well made.
Our 21 foot cruiser weighs about 3000 lbs, and the last winch we had on the trailer simple self destructed. By comparison, this unit is probably twice as strong and should last a long time. I love that the crank is removeable too. Well worth the price.

Missing parts
Was sold as a damaged box, but was missing the crank and wire holder.
