Stranded With Loose Fitting Dentures? Help Is Here!!
I first heard of Comfort Grip from a longtime influencer on You Tube. I was skeptical but she was so good at explaining the product, sharing her experience, and actually showing the 'how-to' with results, that's all I needed. Between her testimony and Amazons guarantee return policy, I had nothing to lose but a smidge of time to receive the product. I ordered the smallest tube which is more like a trial size - only good for a couple of uses, so I recommend ordering the 1 oz. size to get a better price point and more usage. I was excited to try it because I desperately needed something to dance about in this downpour! **Understand... this product is not an adhesive even though it brands as so; however, it is like a soft reline that can have the effect of an adhesive**. I followed the directions to apply on both upper and lower dentures, and waited 20 minutes required for the product to initially set before inserting them. It took about 10 minutes for me to know I had something new to dance about, and dance I did... carefully :) Once the required time passed for the product to cure I was able to gain the full experience other than knowing how long the first application would last. It's easy to use, and expands a bit once you insert the dentures - so less is more would be my tip, by applying just short of the edges. It's also a bit tacky as it should be to adhere to the dentures, but completely 'non-sticky', leaving NO mess, NO raw gums, and removal is as simple as pulling a band-aid off your finger. Once the product cures (completely sets and dries), it should be good to go, up to 4-days or more, with no-fret durability, and no-worry of flying dentures! If you currently deal with loose dentures, Cushion Grip fills the gaps for a firmer hold; however, it's important to note that everyone's fit is unique, and you really won't know unless you try it. As for me... I quickly jumped online to order a bundle of 1 oz. tubes at a decent price, and made a video short to show off my nicely fitting dentures! When I find solutions like Cushion Grip, I can't help but pay forward to others feeling stranded as I did. Any product to bless this ol' great-gram with a more comfortable experience to an already challenging one, PLUS save me time and $$ at the dentist for similar results... is a WIN!!

If you're looking for an adhesive, this ain't it.
If you don't like this product, it's because you thought it was something that it isn't. It's not an adhesive. It's designed to make your dentures fit better, without a lot of movement. And for me, it definitely did. I can talk without my bottom denture moving around. Also, it gives a nice cushion between my gums and the denture. So when I place my denture in my mouth, the denture doesn't scrape my gums. It slides in very well and sets nicely.

Arrived damaged. Does not seem to function correctly.
I was advised to get this by my boss. I checked videos on it and it seemed like a good product. The manufacturer says it's a 4 day hold without need to reapply but the girl promostingnit said she wouldn't have to use it again for another 3 to 4 weeks, so I figured it was worth the money and would try it. I did not intend to buy a trial size considering I could of got about double the mount for an extra 3 dollars. The product arrived today and upon opening the box, I found the metal tool used to help squeeze it out and the tube. I noticed a blob on the side of the tube and thought it was some kind of seal. I was wrong. It was product that leaked out. Upon removing the blob, I discovered a hole in the tube. Desperate to help make my new dentures fit tighter, I decided to ignore it and try it out. It was very difficult to get out, even with the tool. I had to put it in near boiling water for several minutes to apply it. I suspect the damaged tube cause the product to begin to cure. All said and done, nearly the whole tube was used to line the dentures, following the instructions and tutorials. I followed the instructions and later that night. After taking them out and putting them back in they no longer suction in. They stayed in better before the application of the product than after. It's disappointing and I suspect that it isn't fair judgment because of a damaged tube. It may fit tighter and hold up better if the tube was properly sealed and may have been easier to use and apply had it not been exposed to air prior. For the price and experience, I am unwilling to buy another tube and try it again. I would be willing to try again if they seller/manufacturer would be willing to send an undamaged tube to replace and I would give it a fresh review, but honestly I think I am just going to go with tried and true adhesives and hope for a better experience. I want to be clear, I don't want my money back or free product, but based off this experience, even if I recieved my money back, I would not be willing to try it again. I would only try it again if it was given to me to try again.

I wouldn't know what to do without this stuff
Im not sure why this product has low reviews. I would be absolutely miserable without this stuff. My lower dentures dont fit and they hurt my gums from rubbing and they will never fit. With this stuff it creates a softer material for barrier and helps keep them fitting a little more snug. This is not an adhesive, its not a sticky substance like Fixodent. Its more of a liner and helps your dentures fit a little tighter if there's space or even offer a softer material. Didnt realize I got the small tube however when I ordered and half of it was air so that part was a bummer. It can be difficult to remove sometimes but put them under warm water or use a tweezers to help pull the adhesive helps. The longer you wear it without changing the harder it is to remove. It says up to 4 days but I usually wear for like 2 wks with regular daily cleaning.

Life saver for a new denture wearer after extractions ;)
Works great for immediate dentures and is an excellent product to use if you can't use denture adhesive. My gums are still healing from my extractions so no adhesive allowed yet and dentist recommend this stuff. Im so glad I tried it because its literally the only reason I'm able to tolerate having these new dentures in my mouth while its so sore :( This stuff acts like a cushion between the acrylic denture and your gums, and fills in gaps where your denture may be loose. My swelling has gone down considerably so mine are very loose and I cant see dentist for at least two more weeks for an adjustment so I'm really thankful for this product. It does a great job at providing cushion for my sore gums right now. My only complaint is that its supposed to last more than a day or two (according to description) and this stuff really gets quite hard when its left in the denture over night, like air getting to it hardens it or something, not sure, but I end up having to use up a lot of the product because I'm having to remove the old cushion grip every morning and replace it with a new application, so the price for such a small amount, at this rate, is quite expensive and not affordable if I keep having to reapply it daily. I'm definitely getting a soft reline asap and researching other soft liner options that are more affordable or at least longer lasting than 24 hours because this stuff gets so hard over night that its painful to try to put my new dentures in with it hardened :( I definitely recommend this stuff if you're in a situation similar to mine and have immediate dentures because its truly helping me with the pain I'm in :)

Experimenting
I've tried a few different tactics, the most effective for me is that I use a very small amount and roll it out very small maybe as big around as a piece of spaghetti . Then I cut into pieces with scissors roughly 1/4- 3/8 long. I then place the pieces in the corners, one at the front. In between I put "dots" of my regular adhesive & adhesive powder I only use on my bottom denture. The Cushion Grip is a lot harder than adhesive and won't "squish out" but your adhesive also won't squish out either. After and initial disappointment I think this is a workable product if you have a workable plan but ya have to experiment and find out what works best for you.

Get the biger one
I have been using cushion grip for about a month now I am new to having dentures and putting this on there is like putting on house slippers makes them very comfortable however you still need to put on adhesive if you plan on eating with them in but you can still take them out soak them overnight and put more adhesive on and it last me about 5 days before I have to redo it but I do feel it is really worth it and a great comfortable fit.. and just like most people I recommend do not buy the trial size because it is way too small by the bigger one

I WOULD TRY IT!
I've only had dentures for less than month. I've been using Fixodent Ultra and let me tell you how frustrating it's been. I only ate super soft foods like soups. I bought a blender and made everything you could think of (and it hasn't even been a month). So i ordered Cushion Grip, tried it... and the next day i was eating a Chicken Bake from Costco! It didn't hurt to chew anymore! Today i had orange chicken! If you follow instructions exactly you shouldn't have any issues besides excess stuff which is had to trim off with scissors. I already have more on the way. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
