Msata 256GB. Worked as expected
Relatively simple to install but note that there is no securing screws which can be an issue if you don't have them for your motherboard. I understand why they are not included since motherboards differ in terms of screw size needed.Windows 10 identified the drive without issue during a fresh install. Now Windows starts 80% faster and is much more responsive. So a good value upgrade to an aging PC.

Fast, plug and play. Needs to be initialized unlike external drives
Installed it in less than a minute, opened disk management which immediately recognized the storage. It requested to initialize which I did, and now about to install windows on it as the primary boot device. Can't wait for the speed gains as I am also upgrading the process!! Was on a budget so I bought the 256 GB which is enough for OS. I just have to be disciplined to dump all other stuff into the internal 1TB HDD which will now be for file storage.

Best I could find for vintage laptop
Bought this to upgrade a vintage laptop from it's 4GB IDE hard drive to solid state for greater capacity, reliability and speed, in conjunction with this IDE to MSATA adapter:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07H7K7VBP/This was the only trusted SSD brand I could find in small capacities. I didn't want to use any greater capacity in case the laptop didn't recognise it.The SSD was clearly much faster when I was restoring the data to it from a newer, host PC, but in the vintage laptop the speed was not much greater. Of course it's limited by the controller speed and old CPU. But it is silent and 16x more space!

Good
Works the way it should and has no problems whatsoever.

Easy to install, would have loved to have had a mounting screw supplied.
Installed as a new boot drive for an old and creaking laptop.Worked perfectly, with the only minor niggle being there was no mounting screw provided, and I had to jury-rig.

From Cold To Working In Less Than One Minute
I was having issues with the computer as the old HDD was starting to break down. I replaced it with a new HDD then replaced that with this SSD device. An ancient Lenovo AIO computer, now boots up, loads my programs and documents and I'm working in less than one minute. This means I can turn the computer off when not using it, even just a quick lunch, and save a shed load of power too.

Can't recomend this product at all
UPDATE 25/11/2022 - Transend have agreed the product is not fit for purpose in my scenario. I asked if they might exchange it the MLC version of the drive. Unfortunately they want me to pay them for the privilege, and for the same cost, I can just purchase the 128GB Integral item so I declined. No response since...Over a year later and on my third RMA item from Transend I cannot recomend this at all.System is pfSense on an embedded NUC. Transend have replaced twice - all three drives raise the same errors in pfSense logs. Have updated BIOS, tried everything, but I also replicated the issue in windows with the first device and a USB adapter (picture).Wasted far too much time on replacement drive so I would recomend going straight to the Integral INSSD256GMSA drive which I have found no such issues with.--------------------------Mar 10 14:00:06 gw1 kernel: ada0 at ahcich0 bus 0 scbus0 target 0 lun 0Mar 10 14:00:06 gw1 kernel: ada0: <TS64GMSA230S R0427GN1> ACS-3 ATA SATA 3.x deviceMar 10 14:00:06 gw1 kernel: ada0: Serial Number G590260522Mar 10 14:00:06 gw1 kernel: ada0: 600.000MB/s transfers (SATA 3.x, UDMA6, PIO 8192bytes)Mar 10 14:00:06 gw1 kernel: ada0: Command Queueing enabledMar 10 14:00:06 gw1 kernel: ada0: 61057MB (125045424 512 byte sectors)Mar 10 14:00:58 gw1 kernel: (ada0:ahcich0:0:0:0): WRITE_FPDMA_QUEUED.
