This is a blue based red (v. an orange based red) and looks amazing on any skin tone but I have paper white skin and it looks great on my pale vampire skin. If you press some powder on the first application and blot and reapply, it can even withstand dinner. This wears all day and only have to touch up a few times, it's a great product. I had never tried NARS lipstick before so this was a great first lipstick to try.
