wow wow wow made in China? really?
The media could not be loaded. Backstory(skip this part go to the second paragraph if you are in a hurry):The last robot vacuum I had was an iRobot I purchased from Costco for $399 4 or 5 years ago. It was new technology back then but didn't impress me. It just didn't clean very well and pushed things around, made loud noises scared my little dog, no wifi connection, no remote controller. It was a dumb gadget. So I had always been against the idea of getting a robot vacuum because I thought they were scams. I left it to my ex-girlfriend when we broke up. But this one changed my mind. The technology is greatly improved, I realize I am actually living in the future.>The look. A glass looking thick plastic covers the top of the robot, makes it look modern and expensive.>Operation. There are only two buttons on the robot. You will need to use the remote or app to control most of the functions. Two side brushes and one roller brush act as the arms of the robot that collect all the dust and debris. There are 4 side brushes come with the package. Advised to replace them every 3-6 months. You can find replacements for 20 dollars on Amazon. Vacuum power is said to be 1600 PA, which is quite strong for a robot vacuum. It really sucks.>The App, remote Alexa. The remote is good, but the app is better since you can use the app to control the robot everywhere that has reception. It's fairly easy to connect the robot to wifi. To connect to Alexa is trickier, and it just doesn't worth the time because you simply can do all the things through the app. You can only use Alexa to send out two demands to the robot - on and off. You can not home the robot through Alexa. The good thing is you get to name the robot and call it by the name if you use Alexa commend. My robot's name is Spidie.>Pet owners. I have a long hair GSD and it sheds a lot. The robot has no problem picking up pet hairs. The robot is pet-friendly, even my little dog which is very shy and sensitive, she doesn't mind the robot clean her bed and pick up her kibbles.>carpet or floor. I think the robot works best on wood floors. It doesn't work on high carpets, it will get stuck.>Noise level: very quiet. I can have the robot do its job while I sleep. It only makes noises when it bumps into things, though It does a good job to avoid most obstacles.>Stairs. No worry at all, it doesn't fall. I worried about it too when I first got the robot, after 3 weeks, now I am sure it won't fall down the stairs.>Performance. It cleans kinda randomly. Don't expect it to clean your floor inch by inch, it won't. Turn it on every day, it keeps most of your house dust and hair free.>Clean after the vacuum. super easy, the brushes are very soft, so it's easy to pick out all the hairs they collected. The dust bin is also easy to clean, I rinse it with water and it drys fast.>Working time. About 50 minutes @ max suction. It goes back to the home station while battery is low. It doesn't go straight back though, it will get home eventually.Conclusion. This robot is smarter than my old iRobot. Its intelligence is close to an ant. The quality is great and the seller promises a 15-month warranty. It worths the money.

You can not contact the seller for replacement filters and warranty issues
When you buy a robotic vac, be sure you buy a product that gives you easy access to replacement parts. I bought the Robocist 850. It worked well, but I immediately had problems. First, the seller includes a card indicating that they will extend their warranty for 90 days and send you a replenishment kit in exchange for writing a review. When I tried to send them the review to get my kit and warranty extension, the email address they provided was not operable. I could not find them on the internet. Also, there is an app. that you are supposed to be able to download so that you can operate the unit using your phone. No luck using the app. The app is useless. So, of course, Amazon asked me to return the unit which I did. As hard as they tried Amazon couldn't even contact the seller. This whole process took me hours. Buy from a reputable seller who can provide tech support and replacement parts. Also, this product runs for 100 mins. 100 mins isn't long enough to clean a 2300 square foot home. Do not purchase this product.

Very pleased!
The media could not be loaded. Being able have a set cleaning schedule and automatically recharge when it's done means I basically dont have to care too much for it during my long working hours. My previous bot I had problems with it sometimes getting stuck on the carpet, this one never had that problem. My Samoyed is shedding quite a bit but this robot vacuum has been doing great work! Overall very pleased with this purchase. Would totally recommend it for people with pets and dont have to time to clean!

UPDATE: VACUUM KEEPS GOING IN CIRCLES THEN STOPS
Update: I watched a few videos on YouTube about bump error and traced the problem to the flexible metal on the front sensor. I removed the panel infront to expose the flexible metal and adjusted the angle of bend. That way, if the robot hits an object, the spring pushes the panel back out.I bought this product with high hopes but it is looking like I have wasted my money. The robot does not respond to the forward command from the remote (it only turns sideways and moves backwards). If you press the forward button, it responds by moving backwards. If you press auto clean, it moves backwards, then goes in a circle and stops blinking red. There must be a glitch in the software. The robot is a waste of money

The Wifi makes it much better than those without
I ran this unit a few times before I wrote this review as I had a few false starts. It's important to note that these little suckers (pun intended) are smart, but not that smart. If you left a cord under your bed and never got to it but this vacuum can fit under your bed; chances are, it'll be wrapper around the brush once it comes out the other side. The good news is that every time I sent this unit out to clean, it came back with a full dust container needing to be emptied. The bad (or good) news is that it cleaned areas that I probably haven't touched in years because a normal vacuum could never reach.I can't figure out the logic on how it moves and it's avoidance rules, but it manages to clean and make it back to the base before the battery dies every time. I get a notification when it gets close to the stairs, but so far it's never taken a tumble.I like the app and wifi interface quite a lot and will spend some time playing with the programming next. How cool would it be if it could talk to IFTTT and Alexa so you could not only command it to clean by your voice, but also with IFTTT blink a light when it's done or if it's stuck.Reliable cleaning so you don't have to. I'd get one for each floor of my house.
