These are very small, I had purchased them for my kids to use in the sandbox - but didn't realize that they are micro size and not appropriate for that purpose. They would be great in gift bags for a kids birthday party though!

These construction vehicles were the perfect addition to our construction theme cake! We made sure to wash the vehicles before using them on the cake. We stacked two 9” cakes and frosted with dark chocolate fudge icing over most of it. We took a chunk out of the cake where the excavator would dig. Then we iced the top in vanilla icing dyed green (grass), crushed Oreos (asphalt), and crushed Teddy Grahams (dirt; graham crackers would work too). At a local candy store I found gold and “river stone” chocolate rocks which we added to the cake. Our birthday boy *loved* his cake and played with the toys while eating. We’ll wash these up and they’ll be a fun addition to his toy box. So glad we got these!

So so. They’re very cute, definitely. Very very small, somewhat smaller even than a matchbox car chassis (but closer to that than to a micro car),They are advertised as die cast metal. Be aware that is ONLY true of the main upper body of the vehicle. The black chassis piece is plastic as are the moving parts (scoops etc and the movable bars they attach to) on each truck. If your kids are rough on things, probably won’t last long.As a daycare provider I only plan to use these for our kinetic sand, which is a supervised activity. Should be ok for that, but if I tossed them in with regular toys I don’t think they would be.

I ordered these as a cake topper for my grandson's birthday. They were much better quality than I had anticipated. He can definitely play with these for a long time.

These were good quality for the price, I bought some other ones that broke easily. We used these for my 3 year Olds birthday cake and he is still playing with them.
