A PROPER steam iron for pressing and ironing; CLEAR VIEW WATER TANK and at a decent price
YAY!! SEE THROUGH WATER RESEVOIR! Proper heft to the iron so it does the work, not your arm. Perfect point for garment making and quilt piece-making; pressing strips and blocks. Quilters do not use side of iron to press the seams because of distortion, that point on iron works great. Ceramic soleplate is nice. I was used to stainless steel and can't tell the difference. Solid base for iron to rest and not tip over. Shut off time is not too short. Yay on that too. So Happy when my Rowenta, blue plastic, can't see the water refill, died. I actually rejoiced and did a happy dance at the trash can. A lot of steam irons have colored plastic water tank. WHY? you can't see how much water to fill. Item is EXACTLY AS PICTURED. White/silver trim CLEAR Water tank. PRICED RIGHT WITH WARRANTY. THANK YOU THANK YOU! I sew everyday and I'm so happy not to have to use a measuring cup and guess water line.

Look No Further -- This Iron is for You!!
I am more than pleased with this magnificent garment iron and steamer! The main reason I chose this iron over others is because it has a 3 year warranty and a LIFETIME sole plate warranty. A good judgement of product quality can be based on the company's confidence in their products. So, when they include a decent warranty, you know it will exceed expectations. I was also delighted by it's aesthetics and modern look. It definitely does the job on all kinds of fabrics. It takes about 10 seconds for it to heat up, so there is no waiting around to begin your ironing. Multitude of fabric and steam settings to choose from. I was very satisfied with it's garment steaming ability as well. Water reservoir is adequate so you will not have to constantly refill. It's auto shut-off comes in handy as I sometimes forget to turn it off when the day gets busy. One of my favorite features is the 8 foot retractable cord; no more winding up the cord or tripping over it and pulling it down ... Overall, this is a 5 star iron in all attributes at an incredibly affordable price!! (the manufacturer tests every iron, so there is a tiny bit of water in the reservoir).

Love/hate relationship
Love hate relationship with this iron. I had another iron for years and years. I was devastated when it died. I really liked it. So I decided to buy the same one again. Well, it was so old it wasn't available. But they had "updated" versions --I picked the one with the turbo feature. Love that it has a great turbo feature. Hate that it is so HEAVY and LARGE. I am getting use to it BUT it is taking this old dog a lot longer than usual. The clothes I have ironed have turned out nice. And actually it is a pretty good iron. I am getting old so I'm not sure if I will get use to weight or will have to eventually get a lighter iron. However, I've decided not to return and other than the fact I haven't figured out how to turn it off--I just unplug.

THE BEST IRON EVER!!
OMG! I tried sooooo many different irons. Ok, first my husband picked one out for me. I forgot what iron he picked out, but I didn't care for it so I was glad when it blew out. It blew out because we had a faulty plug socket but didn't know it until a total of 3 irons blew out! Anyway, so then I got to pick out the iron I wanted in the first place, which was the Black & Decker Classic Steam Iron F67E. I wanted that iron because I don't care for the "space age" look that new irons have these days. The Black & Decker one looks just like "old school" that I'm used to. So I got that iron & I was so excited. Well, I liked it ok, especially the looks & how it heats, but it doesn't have a spray for water. I can't iron without one, plus I found out that the Black & Decker (as well as many other irons) contain chemicals in the cord that have been known to cause cancer. I've had cancer so I sent this iron back right away & was soooooooooooo happy I did because I found the iron of my dreams! I make masks so I definitely need an iron. This iron heats up really quick, has every, single feature I want & need, it's comfortable to hold & use, it's really, really pretty & the best feature I will never own another iron without, is the retractable cord. I LOVE THIS IRON! == I've been using this iron for a couple of weeks now. I STILL love it! I have found one irritating thing about it though, the dial. After you plug it in, you turn the dial to set the temperature. The dial is underneath the handle & it's hard to see & hard to turn. I can deal with that though. Other than that, it's still perfect!

Great iron for a reasonable price.
As a left hander, I get really annoyed by irons that have the cord sticking out of the side instead of the back. Not only is this iron ambidextrous, it also functions really well and is simple to operate. This iron is light, and heats up quickly. Its nonstick plate helps the iron glide over the fabric.

Worse Than My Previous 30-Year-Old Iron
Man, I thought I did my research for this purchase. This iron seemed to tick all the boxes. Now that I've got it, however, I'm not happy with it. Not unhappy enough to return it -- it does do the minimum job -- but not happy. I have five main complaints. First, it's big and heavy. My arm was tired after ironing three shirts. The water reservoir is huge, which sounds like a good thing -- you don't have to refill it as often. However, the water makes the iron even heavier. And the iron itself is so big that I kept accidentally knocking it into the wall (about six inches behind the ironing board). Second, it doesn't glide. There's significant friction between the soleplate and the fabric. If I move the iron left and right, the ironing board rocks back and forth! This means that, if you aren't careful, the iron will create wrinkles instead of removing them. And it further tires out your arm. I thought nonstick soleplates were a thing? Third, it's hard the temperature dial is directly under the handle and thus hard to turn. And it has to be turned rather far to change heat levels. Fourth, the cord can get in the way of setting the iron down vertically. It's attached to the iron via a ball joint, which, in theory, should allow it to roll up out of the way, but it doesn't always work. Fifth, the instruction manual is terrible. Parts have one name in the diagram, but a different name in the text; icons on the iron itself are different from the icons in the text. Most of the manual is devoted either to not getting sued or to telling you how to iron, as opposed to how to actually use this particular iron. All I have to compare this to is my previous iron, a cheap, basic Black & Decker steam iron that I used for -- I dunno, maybe 30 years? I was forced to replace it because it stopped steaming. Otherwise, however, it had all of the same features, and it was easier to use.

Great little iron!!!
I've learned that the one thing steam irons have in common is that none of them last forever and the price tag has no influence on their lifespan. With that in mind, I try to stay in the $25 or less range and go with a brand I know. I was quite pleased with the last Sunbeam I had so I thought I'd give this newer model a try and in some ways it is even better than I expected. Lightweight, a good-sized reservoir, and general all-around good quality. I like the variety of steam settings and the sprayer works smoothly. The retractible cord mechanism is a little touchy but it does work and is a welcome feature. The only thing I would change is the color of the setting dial. It's a little difficult to read and would be better with bright white print on the dark base rather than the subdued tone. The automatic shut-off feature is absolutely a must-have. I usually opt for a non-stick soleplate and this one seems exceptional.

Excelente.
Muy buena plancha. Me gustó mucho que calienta muy rápido y su vapor desvanece rápido las arrugas de las prendas. El tanque contenedor de agua es grande y me permite planchar por más tiempo .

American plug
The iron came with an American plug and this info was not provided clearly in advance. I would not have bought it if I knew I would need a transformer at much dearer cost.

Good iron for a good price
Easy to use, love the retractable cord. Like the safety shut off feature but at times can be too quick!

Excelente
Muy buena no derrama el agua, calienta muy bien y el modo de vapor es muy bueno. Me gusta mucho que el cable viene por dentro de la plancha y se enrolla solo por lo cual es muy practica.
