What's the difference between a 948 and 948D suction gun? Are they interchangeable?

The YIHUA 948G is a detachable desoldering gun that should be attached to a genuine YIHUA 948 or YIHUA 948-II, and the YIHUA 948G is not compatible with the YIHUA 948D. Compared to the YIHUA 948 desoldering station, the YIHUA 948D is a higher-frequency version and can heat up faster. The desoldering guns for these two models (YIHUA 948, YIHUA 948D) are not interchangeable as the two models operate with different mechanisms to a certain degree. Will this work with the Aoyue 701A++ station? It looks almost identical in design.

It has an eight pin connector, not sure if the Aoyue 701A++ has same pinout or can control the temp of gun correctly...
