Works as intended.
Purchased two of these, one for my miter saw station and one for my contractor type table saw that I closed the bottom cabinet in. Only thing I don’t like is the ribs that go across the duct. They’re fine on the miter saw, but will catch larger chips and plug up when using a dado blade on the table saw. Had to remove them.

Used for CNC laser exhaust.
Used to build a fume extractor on the back of a Full Spectrum MLE40 40w CO2 laser cutter cabinet. Original parts are no longer available and I had to jump through so many hoops to make this thing safe to use indoors again with a high-pressure squirrelcage fan, a bunch of flex duct, and a ridiculous manifold system attached to my dryer exhaust.

The Seller More than the Dust Hood, But Also the Dust Hood
My dust hood arrived in a destroyed package. And I just want to give a shoutout to Powertec's customer service. They immediately responded and shipped out a new unit free of charge with reinforced packaging. I just can't say how much I appreciated good customer service.The hood itself is good quality. It mostly survived something along the lines of being run over with a car. Only one side had been compromised in the trauma. So, I am very excited to have the new one fully in tact. So happy with my purchase and especially for Powertec's customer service.

It fits
I didn’t have anything that fit my old delta 37-196 jointer so I looked here. One reviewer said it fit his delta so that’s all I needed to read. For $7, no brainer purchase. Saved me some time. It bolted right up perfectly. Now on to installing the titan lux cut helical head.
