POWERTEC 70147 4-Inch OD to 2-1/4-Inch OD Hose Reducer Adapter for Dust Collection Systems

The item came within a few days, was ready straight away, a direct fit and correct fit, sturdy and strong, worth the price, now our airflow is greatly inhanced.

Used for a reducer for my dust boot on my Onefinity Journeyman. From 4” to 2 1/2” hose.

This is a very good adapter. I use it on my thickness planer and the cone shape seems to reduce clogs in the junction where my hose attaches.

If you look at it wrong, it'll break.But, that's on me I suppose, I've bought enough items from powertec, that I should know ahead of time, that the quality will be poor.How people rate this, and other Powertec items 5 stars, is baffling. Guide rails, to T bolts, everything always seems to be just good enough to fool an amateur into thinking it's good.

This tapered fitting worked for me as I hoped it would. I used it as part of a dust collection system I built for my table saw. That said, I think I just got lucky. I was hoping the soft rubber collar of my Rigid shop vac hose would snug up to the inside of the taper, it did and fortunately works well. However, I can definitely see why it wouldn't work for some people.The quality of the part is fine.

The gauge of the plastic is a bit thin, but the small end fits in a shopsmith dust collection system just fine! The larger end didn't fit the 4 inch pipe I was going to use, but with a bit of thinking I could make it fit. Overall, not a bad product. Even the thickness isn't an issue since it's not a high suction system.

I bought it to connect my table saw to my 4" dust collection system. It works as pictured. The other adapter is a 4" OD for the hose side and a 4" ID to connect to this piece. I did lightly sand the outside and edge of this piece to loosen the fit slightly for easy removal of the hose adapter.

Tiene buen precio pero se limita a conectores o mangueras que no siempre se encuentran en el mercado mexicano por lo que debes importar o adaptar las conexiones necesarias para que te funcione, sin embargo esta muy bien hecho y sobre todo resistente.

Buena calidad. Excelente para conectores para aspiración de polvo y aserrín. Llegó antes de lo establecido. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
