Material, quality and fit is as good as original. Effective size is about like the eyecup of the A7. IMO this is a must since the A65000 eyecup does not provide shade as it should.

I knew going into the Sony A7C that light leak would be an issue -- it's a shame Sony completely overlooked an eye cup for it, especially considering there is one for the a6X00 series cameras which are comparable to size. My A7C is brand new and I got this item before I even took the camera on its first daylight shoot/event, so I can't really compare it to anything. But, with this eye cup on, I definitely feel both the comfort and functionality of it! It cups my eye perfectly, is extremely comfortable, and it'll reduce the amount of smudges that end up on the EVF from constant use and eyelash contact. Overall -- it's a great design and lines up perfectly. You do lose the functionality of the hotshoe though!

This is a nice eyecup for the Sony a7C camera. It fits fairly snugly in the hotshoe slot so it will not fall out. The only reason I give it for stars is because the rubber eyecup itself is pretty stiff when you hold it against your eye. It feels more like plastic than rubber. A softer silicone eyecup would be better. It does work though, and definitely makes it easier to see through the camera view finder.

A good eye protection for my Alpha 7C2. Original was seems tearing because of normal wear. But its a good one to protect afterwards. Only one problem is that its kind of big which seems odd in the beginning.

The original camera protector is small and sometimes lets light through between your face and the viewfinder. It has happened to me that on several occasions I have to be either pressing the camera very hard to my eyes or placing something to keep the light out so I can better see the camera's parameters. With this enlarged protector that problem is over. Fit and finish is perfect, and at a great price.

This is potentially a nice addition to your camera (in my case, a Sony A7III). Well made, comes on and off cleanly. As to whether you like it, that will be entirely a matter of personal opinion. You may or may not like the ergonomics of the deeper eye piece. Some would say it's better for those who wear glasses; I think it's entirely a personal choice either way.

Torn and falling apart in less than a week. Second time I've got one and clearly it does not hold up.

Fits well and very comfortable. Does not block view like others I have tried.

after reading reviews and looking at the options, if you don't want a huge screen blocking eyecup that blocks sunlight, this is for you. it fits the camera so well it looks like it came that way. it says good for glasses, but alas that's a no. its better than others, but there isn't a magical eyecup that cuts through glass and blocks light to your eye socket. if i don't need it at times, i've just folded it back out of the way. this is my second kiwifotos product and i'm happy so far.

Fit perfectly my Sony A7C except it takes away the hot-shoe connection which I don't I'll ever use as the camera is great enough to take pics in low light situation.

Received in a nice little box. Removed the original eyecup and easily attached the new extended one to my Sony A6300. My left eye is dominant and I wear glasses so there is always the issue of my nose touching the screen and sometimes leaving a smudge. The new eye piece helps solve this issue. The softer rubber is more comfortable too. Very happy with my purchase.
