However, the face of the watch is too dark for a 72 year old to read. Thought there was a light, but there was not. He will not let me return it because he doesn't want to not want me to bother with. But, I know it is hard for him to read. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good looking watch *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2019* One thing I’m disappointed about is that this particular watch didn’t come with the wooden box engraved with “Best Dad Ever” on it- two of the other “Dad” themed engraved watches are listed to come with it. Just didn’t make sense why this one doesn’t. The watch face is DARK. If you have poor eyesight- this isn’t the one for you. The strap is your basic faux leather strap. Not the greatest quality but good enough for its price! The woodface is beautiful and it comes in a lovely black box with a black pillow to cushion it. ### ⭐⭐ Wouldn’t recommend *by D***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2019* I got two different watches. One for a father and one for a son. The one for my son I give 4-5 stars. It was very nice looking and usable. However, my dads was the complete opposite. Unable to read the back and even unable to read the time on the front because it’s to dark and the hands and numbers are so dark you can’t see it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/166812815-custom-engraved-mens-vintage-analog-quartz-wooden-wrist-watches-handmade](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/166812815-custom-engraved-mens-vintage-analog-quartz-wooden-wrist-watches-handmade) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
