As an aunt I always feel a lot of pressure when it’s time to get gifts for my nieces and nephews. My 8 year old nephew is not an easy kid to please. He’s smarter than the average kid and prefers toys that are fun, but somewhat educational that spark his curiosity. I remembered that he loved the Indiana Jones movies and when his birthday came around I stumbled onto this cool kit while searching for archaeology related STEM toys. It was a home run! He absolutely loved it! Now he and his big sister are obsessed with learning more about archaeology, fossils and earth science. It’s amazing! This is a great gift for any kid, but especially for kids with an interest in science.

My 3.5 year old absolutely loved this! She was so amazed every time she found something new. It kept her interest for an hour! Such a great kit for all ages

The kids had so much fun excavating the fossils. There was a good variety of fossils and it came with all the tools needed, including the classification chart and a storage bag to keep them in.

We really enjoyed doing this fossil dig. It took us a while to get all 15 fossils out and my daughter really enjoyed the glow in the dark aspect. Will probably by the gemstone one or the dinosaur one in the future

I like that there is glow in the dark things! The tools are better than other kits i have used.

All of my grandkids enjoy doing this STEM kit. Took them half a day. An they were very happy wen they found a gem or a coin. Comes with a small poster of wat the gems are an tells u about the coins too. Great bday gift for children

To the Nature Gear team. I bought the Fossils Excavation mystery kit for my 6 yr old grandson for Christmas. It took he and I over an hour excavating the fossils , classifying them and showing his finds to his little brother. He loved it! And so did I! A great time was had by all! Hiding under a blanket to see which ones glow in the dark was a fun way to end our excavation. I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in archeology, fossils, dinosaurs etc. It is great fun! It was fairly messy The difficulty level was actually pretty awesome I absolutely loved the Dino stickers They are a hard plastic kind of like the stars that you get to put on your walls and ceilings and then the glow in the dark fossils were pretty cool too all in all it was a good value for the money
