I have one on a 7" samsung after a while it comes off and I have to re stick it back on any thoughts

If you have a glass back, which I believe most Samsungs do nowadays, the Pop Socket comes with a little clear adhesive sticker which you need to stick onto the Pop Socket, before putting on your phone. The adhesive isn't the best when it comes to glass, so put the clear sticker on the Socket, and then put it on your device. It's pretty self-explanatory, as it comes with a handy little instruction manual.

Does it come with a clip?

Mine did not come with a clip, just the popsocket itself.

PopSockets can be used on a case, just keep in mind that even though the PopSockets grip’s gel is designed to stick to most materials, it struggles with sticking to silicone, leather, soft rubber, waterproof and textured surfaces.

It has nothing to do with charging port...you can pit the pop socket anywhere on your phone...i love mine
