Good value
This grinder is good value for the money. I had been purchasing electric grinders that would die before a year’s use. Obviously this takes more effort but if you prepare your coffee in the evening it works fine. Probably not best for people in a big hurry though.

A little difficult to operate if you have weaker hands

Perfect little grinder for multiple uses!
This is the perfect little hand grinder! The top unscrews to add the beans, it holds a couple of tablespoons at a time. On the bottom side is a switch that allows you to change how fine or coarse you want to grind the beans. This can also be used to grind herbs, I’ve used it to grind fresh rosemary. It’s easy to clean as it comes apart into 3 pieces. It’s small enough to take with you when traveling but large enough to grind a substantial amount of beans or herbs. Definitely a great deal for the price!

Worthless
It didn't work at all. The crank wouldn't turn. I'm returning it, so it's not a waste of money, thank goodness, but it's a waste of time, a disappointment, and a day without my morning coffee

Grinder works well, plastic is cheap
The Good: This grinder does what it's supposed to do. After a month of daily use, I have been very happy with the consistency of the grind. The Bad: 1. The translucent plastic pieces of this grinder are prone to small cracks. That would be the top cover, and more importantly, the container at the bottom that catches the ground coffee. After a month of use, they have dozens of hairline cracks. So far it has held together, here's hoping that continues. 2. This grinder takes a lot of manual effort. I've gotten better at it, but it still takes 2 minutes of cranking to get one cup's worth of coffee at a grind level slightly finer than drip. This works well for single serve coffee applications like Aeropress, but would require probably 10 minutes of grinding for a full pot. Also, the grinder is hard to grip while cranking (small and a bit slick). 3. The grind size control is extremely basic. When I bought it, I thought there were a handful of fixed grind size settings. That is not really the case. Instead, the selector is a wheel that clicks around in circles endlessly, with no way of knowing the size other than trying it out. This is ok if you always want the same grind size, but it is bad if you want to go back and forth between different grind sizes.

Manual coffee grinder
Exactly what I wanted to complete my mindfulness when making coffee. Settings for size of grounds, easy to use, handle is perfect size.

I wrote a review last year about this grinder, and I gave it a bad review. Here is an update
You can grind on this for hours and not get enough ground coffee to make a pot. Very disappointing. Update: Since writing my initial review, I have realized that while this grinder isn't the fastest when it comes to grinding coffee, it is an excellent pepper mill. Actually, it's the best I've ever used. If you are looking for an excellent pepper mill, this one is great.

Works well
It came nicely packaged in a small box. I read the instructions and wiped it down before use. It has a lid with a handle, a cylinder with some kind of ceramic piece that grinds the beans and at the bottom of the cylinder you're able to rotate the inside left or right to adjust how large you want your grounds. A small plastic cup attaches snugly to the cylinder and catches the grounds. The particular amount I prefer for my coffee was one and a half plastic cup fulls. I found a nice way to feed the beans into the grinder is fill one of your palms with beans, rest the cylinder on the side of your palm and let the beans slide in to the grinder. While rotating the handle it makes about as much noise as someone eating crunchy cereal. I appreciate this because I accidentally bought coffee beans rather than grounds and it's an affordable way to crush up the beans rather than between two cups using muscle. When you first get it, be sure to loosen or turn the grounds-lever-thing at the bottom of the cylinder to the left a bit, you'll see it open up in a circle within the cylinder to allow larger shavings of bean through. Otherwise you may find it difficult to rotate at first and it may shave off ceramic clay. I bought the stainless steel version.

Smooth, Sturdy, and Surprisingly Consistent
I was pleasantly surprised by how substantial this feels in the hand. The crank action is smooth with no wobble, and the ceramic burrs bite into the beans cleanly without heating them up. Flavor has been consistently bright and full, whether I set it for pour over, French press, or a finer espresso grind. It is also quieter than expected, which makes early morning grinding less disruptive on cold winter mornings. The stainless components feel solid and the overall fit is tidy, so it packs neatly for the office or travel. Dialing in the grind size with the bottom adjuster is straightforward after a couple of tries, though espresso does take more turns of the handle and a bit of patience. For larger brew batches the capacity is on the smaller side, so I do a quick second fill. Cleanup is easy since it comes apart quickly and rinses without trapping grounds, and I have not noticed any lingering odors. Those minor points aside, it delivers reliable, even grounds and feels robust every time I use it. If you want a manual grinder that is smooth to operate and built to last, this is an excellent choice.

I can't adjust the grind
It does the job, but I find the grind is too fine. I can't seem to adjust it so have mostly gone back to my mortar and pestle.

nice, practical & small
for coffee, it is great but not for small seeds like flaxseed and it is for bachelors, one person and just sometimes two, otherwise you have to grind harder :)

Pas efficace
C'est ridiculement long pour moudre juste une tasse de café si vous avez de la patience (environ 10Minutes)
